WWE Raw returns live tonight at 8/7c on Netflix from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.
CM Punk is here, A loud “CM Punk” chant from the crowd then begins as he holds the microphone in the air. Punk then starts off by saying is it great to be alive on a Monday night in Houston, Texas or what. Punk then says when he came back he had a few goals. Punk then says one was to main event WrestleMania and the other was to be a World Champion. Punk then says one of those happened and he can now focus on the goal of being World Champion.
Punk then says last week he won a Gauntlet Match and that made him the #1 contender to GUNTHER’s World Championship. Punk then says GUNTHER is one of the best wrestlers in the world and he is looking very forward to lacing them up and facing him. Punk then says he cannot promise a win, but with everyone cheering him he can promise that he will leave it all in the ring. Punk then says he will not quit and he will give everything he has. Punk then says he looks at GUNTHER and he is one of the best in the world. Punk then says GUNTHER was the Intercontinental Champion for 666 days and in his second run as World champion. Punk then says he has two weeks to train for GUNTHER, but he has been training for this his entire life as he is CM Punk. Punk then says to GUNTHER and his fans he is not just any other wrestler, not just any other challenger, he is the best in the world. As Punk continues to talk, GUNTHER’s music hits and he makes his way out.
GUNTHER then gets in the ring and stares at Punk as he grabs a microphone. Both men are face to face in the ring and the title is around GUNTHER’s waist. GUNTHER then takes a step back and the fans chant “CM Punk”. As GUNTHER is about to speak, the fans boo and chant “You tapped out”. GUNTHER then begins to speak and the fans boo. GUNTHER says he is very excited to hear, but the fans keep booing him. We then get another “You tapped out” chant. GUNTHER then says to cut to the chase he did not come out to throw insults at him and to create any drama. GUNTHER then says he wanted to point out some similarity. GUNTHER then says they are there for the same reason, not to make friends but to make money and win championships. GUNTHER then says they both consider themselves as the best in the world. GUNTHER then says Punk has a massive ego and the fans kept chanting his name. GUNTHER then says he doesn’t blame Punk for that. GUNTHER then says he has an ego too, but his is justified.
GUNTHER then says his ego is not based on what the fans think, that is worthless. GUNTHER then says his ego is based on results. GUNTHER then says Punk just listed his accolades. GUNTHER then says the best in the world is the man who holds the World Heavyweight Championship. Punk then nods and GUNTHER says at SummerSlam that bell will ring and when it does he will make Punk regret that he got into a ring. GUNTHER then says he will maul him, choke him out and drop him. GUNTHER then says Punk will wake up, looking at the lights and he will realize that he was right. GUNTHER then says he will never be World Champion and he will never be the best in the world. GUNTHER then says at least he has the degenerate fans chanting for him for the rest of his life. GUNTHER then drops the microphone and leaves the ring with his entrance music playing. Punk then stares at GUNTHER, who heads to the back.
We then head to the back, where Byron Saxton is interviewing Stephanie Vaquer. She tells him that Chelsea Green is not her problem. Naomi then shows up and tells Vaquer that they have not met yet, but she is the Women’s World Champion. Stephanie then tells Naomi she knows who she is. Naomi then tells Stephanie that after she wins at SummerSlam, she will face her at Clash in Paris. Stephanie then tells Naomi if she survives and Naomi says she will and since Stephanie wants to be smart, IYO was walking her like a dog and she will see her in Paris. Naomi then walks away laughing.
Singles Match: Rusev vs. Sheamus
The match starts off with Sheamus going for the Brogue Kick right away, but Rusev ducks and gets out of the ring. Sheamus then goes to the outside and both men hit right hands. Sheamus then sends Rusev into the barricade and into the ring. As Sheamus is getting in the ring, Rusev hits him with a kick to the side of the head and follows it up with a suplex. Rusev then hits another suplex and goes for the cover, but Sheamus kicks out. Rusev then hits a kick to the face, but Sheamus hits a right hand. Sheamus then lifts Rusev up on his shoulders and hits him with a rolling senton.
Sheamus then gets on the top rope, but Rusev gets to his feet. Rusev then hits some chops to the chest and he climbs the second rope. Rusev then goes for a suplex, but Sheamus hits right hands and Rusev falls onto the mat. Sheamus then gets on the top rope and he jumps, but Rusev hits a kick to the face. He then goes for the cover, but Sheamus kicks out. Rusev then grabs Sheamus and gets him in the Accolade. Sheamus then tries to get out of it and he gets to the ropes. Sheamus is down and he tells Rusev to bring it. Rusev then hits kicks to the face. Rusev then undoes the top turnbuckle pad. Sheamus then gets on the ring apron and Rusev grabs him. He then tries to slam Sheamus face first onto the turnbuckle, but Sheamus blocks it. Sheamus then slams Rusev face first onto the turnbuckle. The referee then puts back the turnbuckle pad. Rusev then grabs the shillelagh and he goes to hit Sheamus with it, but Sheamus hits the Brogue Kick. He then goes for the cover and gets the win.

We then head to the back, where Byron Saxton is interviewing El Grande Americano. Saxton asks him what his goals are in WWE. El Grande Americano then tells him in Spanish that he does not understand and people should wait. Dragon Lee then shows up and he tells El Grande Americano that he is fake and he is disrespecting all of the luchadors everywhere. El Grande Americano then tells Lee “I am a luchador, you are trash” in Spanish. Dragon Lee and El Grande Americano then begin to fight as WWE officials break it up.
WWE World Tag Team Championship No. 1 Contender’s Triple Threat Match: The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) vs. American Made (Julius Creed and Brutus Creed) vs. LWO (Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro)
The match starts off with Brutus, Wilde and Kofi. Kofi is then thrown to the outside and Brutus sends Wilde in the air. Julius is then tagged in and Kofi comes in, but Julius takes both Kofi and Wilde out. Julius then goes for the cover on Wilde, but Wilde kicks out. Del Toro is then tagged in and they double team Julius. Del Toro then hits a springboard moonsault. Kofi then comes in and hits a kick to the face. Kofi then goes for the cover on Julius, but Julius kicks out. Kofi then goes for the cover on Del Toro, but he kicks out. Kofi then sends Julius to the outside and he sends Del Toro in the corner. Woods is then tagged in and he hits a DDT. Woods then struts like Ric Flair and he turns around, hitting Julius with a super kick. He and Kofi then interchange tags and they stomp on Julius in the corner. Kofi then hits a drop kick on Julius and Julius falls to the outside.
Wilde then takes Julius down and he hits a superkick on Woods. Wilde then hits a DDT on Julius. Brutus then comes in, but he is taken down and Kofi comes in but he is taken down as well. Julius and Woods then go to the outside as Wilde climbs the top rope. Ivy then pushes him down off the top rope and he falls to the outside of the ring. Dragon Lee is checking up on Wilde and Julius pushes Dragon Lee down. Dragon Lee then gets back up and he superkicks Julius and Brutus. Dragon Lee then gets on the ring apron, but out comes El Grande Americano who trips him up. American Made then grab El Grande Americano and Del Toro hits a tornado splash on American Made. Wilde is then thrown into the ring by The New Day. They then go to double team him, but he throws Woods to the outside and rolls Kofi up for the win.

We then head to the back, where we see The Kabuki Warriors and IYO SKY having a conversation. They talk about how they will be champions. Asuka then wishes IYO good luck at SummerSlam. The Kabuki Warriors then leave and Stephanie Vaquer shows up. She then tells IYO that if IYO wins at SummerSlam, they will face each other at Clash in Person. IYO then tells her that she had her beat and Stephanie tells her they don’t have to wait until Paris to find out. IYO then challenges Stephanie to a match tonight and Stephanie accepts.
Becky Lynch’s music then hits and she makes her way down to the ring holding her Women’s Intercontinental Championship. The fans then boo her and she tells them not to do that and to put appreciation on her name. Lynch then says she should not be there tonight and she should be in New York at the premiere of her new movie, Happy Gilmore 2. Lynch then says but instead she is in Houston, Texas. Lynch then says because that is what leaders do and they don’t always do what they want to do, they do what they have to do and she has to address some important business.
Lynch then says at Evolution she had the slickest win of all time and she did what she said she was going to do. Lynch then says she won and she held everyone down, but at least she was honest about it, unlike Lyra. Lynch then says Lyra spent months saying that she stole opportunities and tonight Lyra has a chance to win the tag team titles. Lynch then asks who needs two titles. Lynch then says of course when she walked out of Metlife as Becky Two Belts that was different and it was ground breaking. Lynch then says Lyra’s intentions are selfish, but as the leader of the division that ends now. Lynch then calls out Lyra and Lyra’s music hits.
Becky then tells her that they are one for one in singles competition and she brought out the best of Lyra. Lynch then says that free ride ends at SummerSlam. Lynch then says the last time they went one on one, she said that if she would not beat Lyra, she would not challenge for the title but now, she extends the same thing to her and when Lyra loses, she cannot challenge for the title again. Lyra then tells her that maybe her problem is she never takes it far enough and she accepts her terms, but her terms are there are no count outs, no disqualification and there must be a winner. Becky then accepts and Lyra tells her that she will see her at SummerSlam and she drops the microphone.
Becky then says before she goes, Lyra keeps disrespecting her. Lynch then says the match at SummerSlam is the most important match the title will ever have because it will determine the women’s division. Lynch then says she will respect the match and herself. Becky then tells her that once more, she will be the bigger person and asks Lyra to shake her hand. Lyra then goes to shake her hand and Becky goes for a right hand, but Lyra ducks and hits a Manhandle slam. Bayley’s music then hits and she makes her way down to the ring for their tag team match.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: The Judgment Day (Raquel Rodriguez and “The Prodigy” Roxanne Perez) (c) vs. Lyra Valkyria and Bayley
The match starts off with Bayley and Roxanne in the ring. Bayley then goes for the cover, but Perez kicks out. Perez then tags Raquel in and she pushes Bayley down onto the mat. Bayley then gets back to her feet and Lyra is tagged in. Lyra then cinches in a head lock, but Raquel sends her away. Lyra then goes for a shoulder tackle, but Raquel stays on her feet. Lyra then goes for a suplex, but Raquel lifts her up and sends her onto the mat and Lyra lands on her feet. Bayley is then tagged in and they go for a double suplex on Raquel, but Raquel double suplexes them. Raquel then sends Bayley face first onto the turnbuckle. Perez is then tagged back in and they double team Bayley. Perez then goes for the cover, but Bayley kicks out. Raquel is then tagged back in and Lyra is tagged in as well. Lyra then trips Raquel up. She then runs towards Raquel, but Raquel sends her on the top rope. Bayley then distracts the referee and tries to get in the ring, but Perez hits a right hand on Lyra.
Dominik then gets on the ring apron and Bayley yells at him. Perez then rolls Bayley up from behind, but Bayley kicks out. Lyra then gets in Dominik’s face. She then turns around and Raquel goes for a big boot, Lyra then ducks and she big boots Dominik. He is then down and he is yelling for a medic. Lyra then hits a dropkick through the ropes on Raquel. In the ring, Bayley and Perez slam into each other. Medical personnel then runs down and they are checking on Dominik. One of them is AJ Styles and Dominik tries to get away and he does. AJ then chases him. Becky then runs to the outside and she sends Lyra into the ring steps. Bayley then goes for the tag, but Lyra is not there. Perez then rolls Bayley up, but Bayley reverses it and Perez kicks out. Raquel is then tagged in without Bayley seeing it. Bayley then hits a Bayley to Belly on Perez. Raquel then comes in and she hits the Tejana Bomb on Bayley for the win.

We then head to the back, where Jackie Redmond is interviewing Sami Zayn with his ribs wrapped in tape. He then tells her that medically he could have probably used more time. He. then says it was one thing when Kross was in the shadows, but now he is getting in the way of his goals. He then says he missed last week because of Kross and he would have been in that Gauntlet match. He then says he could have won that match and have had a Championship opportunity.
We then head to the back, where Dominik is looking for AJ Styles. JD McDonagh and Finn Bálor then tell him that AJ is not there. Adam Pearce then shows up and tells him that he is done, either he vacates the title or who will walk with Dominik to medical and get his doctor’s evaluation. Dominik then tells him that is his title and Pearce tells him that he hopes he sees him in medical.
Singles Match: Sami Zayn vs. Karrion Kross
The match starts off with Zayn hitting a chop to the chest of Kross and he follows it up with a suplex. Zayn then holds his ribs and that slows him down. Zayn then goes to the ropes and Kross hits an elbow to the face. Kross then hits some forearms to the face. Zayn then gets to his feet and Kross hits some right hands. He then slams Zayn into the turnbuckle and down goes Zayn, holding his ribs. He then gets Zayn back up and Kross goes for chops to the chest, but Zayn ducks. Zayn then hits some chops to the chest. He then climbs the second rope and punches Kross in the face. He then sends Kross to the ropes and clotheslines him to the outside of the ring. Zayn is on the ring apron and he hits an Arabian press and Zayn holds his ribs, pointing to the sky paying homage to Sabu. Kross then gets back in the ring and he distracts the referee as Scarlett kicks Zayn in the ribs.
Kross then hits an exploder. He then sends Zayn to the ropes, but Zayn hits a clothesline. Zayn then gets back up and he hits a big boot on Kross. Zayn then hits a slap to the chest and he hits a tornado DDT. Zayn then goes for the cover, but Kross kicks out. Zayn then grabs Kross, but Kross pushes him into the corner. Kross then hits a punch to the injured ribs. He then places Zayn on the top rope and Kross is on the second rope. Kross then goes for a suplex, but Zayn hits right hands. Zayn then hits a sunset flip powerbomb. He then goes for the cover, but Kross kicks out. We then see Scarlett grabbing a steel pipe and she hits it on the ring post. Kross then goes towards it with Zayn distracting the referee. Zayn then gets to Kross and Scarlett hides it. Zayn then hits a suplex into the corner and Zayn is holding his ribs. The referee then checks on Zayn. Kross then grabs the pipe as Scarlett grabs Zayn’s leg. The referee then sees her and the referee is distracted, Kross then hits Zayn in the ribs with the steel pipe. He then goes for the cover and gets the win.

We then head to the back, where AJ Styles is with Adam Pearce. A medic then comes out and says they finished the evaluation, but there is still paperwork. Dominik then shows up and he hits AJ from behind. He then grabs the papers and says he is cleared and he will see AJ at SummerSlam.
Singles Match: IYO SKY vs. “The Dark Angel” Stephanie Vaquer
The match starts off with both women exchanging reversals and they are now on their feet. Stephanie then hits a modified choke hold, but IYO reverses it into a choke hold of her own. Stephanie then gets to her feet and gets out of it. IYO then trips Stephanie up and rolls her up, but Stephanie kicks out. Stephanie then get a bridge pin, but IYO kicks out. Both women are now face to face and they exchange forearms. Stephanie then hits a back suplex and she grabs IYO, but IYO rolls her up and Stephanie kicks out. IYO then goes to the ropes and she hits a drop kick. Stephanie then rolls to the outside of the ring and IYO goes to the ropes and hits a suicide dive. IYO then gets back into the ring to break the count. IYO is on the ring apron and she goes for a springboard moonsault off the second rope, Stephanie then moves out of the way and IYO lands on her feet and Stephanie hits a super kick. Stephanie then gets back in the ring and hits a flying cross body off the top rope.
She then runs towards IYO, but IYO ducks and she hits a German suplex. Stephanie then gets on the ring apron and IYO goes for a sunset flip bomb, but Stephanie holds onto the ropes. Stephanie then hits a knee to the throat. Stephanie then hits the Devil’s Kiss on the ring apron. She then rolls IYO into the ring and hits another Devil’s Kiss. She then goes for the cover, but IYO kicks out. Stephanie then hits a dragon screw in the corner and follows it up with the double knees. Stephanie then grabs IYO and goes for SVB, but IYO reverses it with a back breaker. She then goes for the cover, but Stephanie kicks out. IYO then hits the double knees in the corner. She then climbs the top rope, but Stephanie trips her up. Stephanie then hits a reverse DDT and both women are down. We then see Piper Niven and Alba Fyre walking down to the ring. Stephanie then gets up and knocks them both down off the ring apron. Chelsea Green then shows up from behind and she attacks Stephanie as the referee calls for the bell.

After the match, Chelsea sends IYO to the outside. They then begin beating up on Stephanie, but IYO climbs the top rope and hits a drop kick onto Chelsea. IYO then takes Alba Fyre down. IYO and Stephanie then hits a double drop kick on Niven, taking her to the outside. IYO and Stephanie then look at each other and smile. Naomi then shows up and pushes IYO onto Stephanie and Stephanie falls to the outside of the ring. Niven and Fyre then beat up on Stephanie as Naomi beats IYO up in the ring. Rhea Ripley’s entrance music then hits and she makes her way down to the ring. She then hits a big boot on Niven and sends Alba Fyre into the ring steps. Rhea then gets in the ring and slams Naomi down. Chelsea then gets up and she is between Stephanie, IYO and Rhea. Stephanie and IYO then hit her with boots to the face and Rhea hits her with the Riptide. Stephanie, Rhea and IYO then stand in the ring as Rhea’s music hits.
Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed then make their way down to the ring. They then enter the ring with Bronson holding the Money in the Bank briefcase. Heyman then introduces himself and says before Roman comes out, he has a lot of things to get off his chest. The fans then chant “OTC” and Roman’s music hits. Roman then makes his way down to the ring. Heyman then has his men stand back while Reigns enters the ring. Heyman then says he will never want to be disrespectful or rude. The fans then boo. Heyman then says they are off to a bad start with him. An “asshole” chant then breaks out.
Heyman then tries to repeat his line, but the fans chant OTC, which gets a smirk out of Reigns. Heyman then says he doesn’t ever want to be where it seems he is disrespectful and rude, like someone born in Texas. Breakker then looks at the fans and laughs. Heyman then tells Reigns that Seth Rollins will be out of action for a long, long time. Heyman then says that opens up a leadership void on his side. Heyman then says if Reigns thinks about it, they can fix this and put things back together. Heyman then says look who and what comes along with me regarding Breakker and Reigns.
Heyman then tells Reigns that he knows they are far better together than apart. Heyman then says, “You’ll always be my family, because I love you, my Tribal Chief.” The fans then chant, “You sold out” at Heyman before Reigns takes the mic away from him. Reigns then tells Heyman he will have to put that on pause because there is one thing he forgot to do. Reigns then plays to the Houston crowd and gets another loud “OTC” chant before he tells the fans to acknowledge him, which draws more cheers. Heyman then puts his index finger in the air for more boos. Roman then asks the fans what Heyman was talking about. Roman then says a few years ago, Heyman asks him to lead would have been wise words from a wise man, but Heyman’s not a wise man anymore he is just a dumbass. Bron then gets angry, but Bronson and Heyman calm him down.
Roman then tells him to calm down and to sit under the learning tree and write this down because Heyman will do to them what Heyman did to him. Roman then says Heyman will try to take all the credit. Roman then says he heard a lot of people try and take responsibility for creating the Tribal Chief, but he can tell them that it wasn’t Heyman. Roman then says the only reason he is the Tribal Chief is because the fans still acknowledge him. The fans then chant “OTC”. Roman then says the OTC was a Champion too, the greatest Champion to step foot in the ring and Heyman had a part in that, but he did not have any part in his keeping that title. Roman then says The Usos did, Solo did and Sami even helped out but he lost that title and it only took four years but he did and after that Heyman told everyone that Roman went off but Roman went home to continue to raise the future Bloodline. Reigns then says Heyman thought they were just another fat check or another wrestling group. Roman then says you can create those, but you can’t create the Bloodline as that was God’s word. Bron then takes a step forward, but both Heyman and Bronson stop him.
Roman then says what really bothers him is that Heyman used to be a friend to his family and a business partner. Roman then says he made him a part of their family and he was chosen family, he gave him responsibility and Heyman threw it all away. Roman then says he threw it away for a best friend, someone that he had not talked to in over a decade. Roman then tells Heyman not to ever come out and say he ruined the Bloodline. Roman then saysHeyman did and Bron steps forward and asks for a microphone. Bron then tells Roman that they don’t want him there anymore as he is yesterday’s news and he is the old dog and he was relevant five years ago. He then says that was Roman’s prime and he’s just taking up a spot, standing in his ring. And he is glad that Roman did not take Heyman’s offer. And he knows Heyman won’t stab him in the back because he holds value while Roman is worthless. Bron says he is the big dog now, he is the top dog, he is the future of WWE, he is the man now. Bron tells Roman to do what he does best, to turn around and leave.
Roman takes a step back and the fans chant “OTC”. Roman says he has to be completely honest, he did not hear any of that trash that Bron just said. He doesn’t think his mic was working and if he wants to say it again, to use his mic. Roman throws his microphone to Bron and Roman hits him with a Superman punch. Roman with right hands onto Bronson, Roman turns around and Bron hits him with a spear. The fans chant “YEET” and Bronson is about to go for a Tsunami onto Roman but Jey Uso’s music hits. Jey runs down to the ring and he lands a super kick onto both men. Jey with right hands onto Bron and Bron goes down. Jey with a spear onto Bron and Roman with a spear onto Bronson. Jey’s music hits as he and Roman stand tall with Heyman, Bron and Bronson out of the ring and the show comes to a close.
