During this week’s episode of WWE Raw a stipulation was added to the Becky Lynch vs. Lyra Valkyria match for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship at WWE SummerSlam. The match is now a no count out and no disqualification bout. If Valkyria loses, she can never challenge for the Women’s I-C title again.
Also on tonight’s show the New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods), American Made (Brutus Creed & Julius Creed), and LWO (Joaquin Wilde & Cruz Del Toro) competed in a triple threat tag team match to determine the number one contenders to the WWE World Tag Team Championships.
In the end Wilde rolled up Kofi Kingston for the pinfall.
It is currently unknown when Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro will challenge for the WWE World Tag Team Championships.
Also Trick Williams appeared on this week’s WWE Raw, the TNA Champion showing up during a commercial break. Williams, who retained the TNA World Title at TNA Slammiversary, he was then interviewed by Vic Joseph Williams was asked about the Undertaker confronting him on this week’s NXT.
Williams: “The truth is, I ain’t got no problem with The Undertaker. The Undertaker has a problem with me. It was his LFG sitting in the way after I had a match. So I stood on business and told him to move. Undertaker, since you want to talk, let’s talk. You out here popping off like your knees ain’t got no expiration date. I’m glad you like to roll your eyes to the back of your head because I might just knock your ass out. You can keep tweeting if you want to. Tomorrow might be your last ride.”
