AEW Dynamite Results (7/30/2025)

Here are the results for July 30th episode of AEW Dynamite.

AEW World Tag Team Title Eliminator Tournament Quarterfinal Round Match:The Outrunners (Turbo Floyd and Truth Magnum) vs. The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson)

The match starts off with Truth Magnum and Nicholas Jackson and Magnum hits a bodyslam on Nicholas. Turbo Floyd then tags in and The Outrunners double team on Nicholas. Matthew then comes to his brother’s aid, but The Outrunners hit double back body drops on both Nicholas and Matthew before delivering some right hands on them in opposite corners.

Nicholas then hits a jump up knee strike on Magnum and follows it up with an Assisted Sliced Bread on him with Matthew. Magnum then rolls up Matthew, but Matthew kicks out and low blows Magnum while distracting the referee. The referee then shoves Matthew and Magnum rolls him up. He then kicks out, but Nicholas looks to hit a superkick on Magnum. Magnum then kicks out, but Floyd tags in and The Outrunners hit Total Recall on Matthew. Nicholas then breaks the fall and The Bucks respond with the TK Driver on Floyd for the win.

After the match, Kazuchika Okada join The Bucks in the ring and the trio continue beating down The Outrunners. Swerve Strickland’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring along with Prince Nana. The Outrunners then gain the upper hand over The Bucks, then beat down Okada with Strickland. Strickland then hits the Swerve Stomp on The Elite. Strickland then returns to the ring to stand tall with The Outrunners while his music plays.

We then head to the back, where Mark Briscoe is being interview but he is quickly interrupted by Ricochet and GOA. They tell Briscoe to stop worrying about MJF and focus on the man who is facing him tonight. Briscoe then promises Ricochet an ass whooping before turning his attention back to telling off MJF. Ricochet then grabs Briscoe’s attention back and says he will see him tonight.

We then head to another backstage area, where MJF is cutting a promo. MJF mentions his role in Happy Gilmore 2 and knocks on the door. Shelton Benjamin then answers the door. MJF then says he is sorry about Bobby Lashley’s actions. He then says he and MVP could start to strategize. Benjamin then says MVP isn’t there because he is disgusted with MJF. Benjamin then brings up Lashley, then asks MJF if he has the time. MJF then says no because he gave Benjamin his watch. Benjamin then pulls out the watch and says it might be the nicest watch he has ever seen come from Temu. Benjamin then asks MJF if he thinks he is so stupid he doesn’t know the difference between a Rolex and a cheap knockoff. Benjamin then says because of the watch they have been on to MJF the entire time. Benjamin then says the only reason they didn’t take out MJF months ago was because MVP stuck his neck out for him. Benjamin then tosses the watch at MJF. Benjamin then gives MJF a thumbs down while adding that he is out of the Hurt Syndicate.

Tony Schiavone then introduces Christian Cage and Christian makes his way down to the ring. Schiavone then asks Cage about The Patriarchy kicking him out at All In and Cope subsequently tells him to find himself and Cage introduces himself before admitting that he’s an asshole. Cage then says he was obsessed with becoming AEW World Champion no matter the cost and he was ready to fulfill his destiny at AEW Revolution earlier this year. Cage then says when he looked at the canvas, he caught a glimpse of his past and became asshole with feelings. Cage then says it cost him anything and he didn’t think that Nick Wayne, Mother Wayne and Kip Sabian were competent enough to kick him out of the group. Cage then asks Nick, Mother Wayne and Sabian what they know about taking risks. Cage then addresses Cope and asks him if the things he has said to him in AEW were that bad. Cage then says Cope was an opportunist who did some unsavory things to get to the top and he was simply conducting business. Cage then says Cope told him to find himself and maybe he did but maybe he didn’t. Cage then says he and Cope are very different and yet the same.

Cage then says The Patriarchy decided that they didn’t need a patriarch anymore and he has found himself in holes before. Cage then says he’s always managed to climb out of the holes that he has been buried in and Nick may think he’s had a little success as Ring Of Honor World Television Champion but questions how he’ll show up when he has to defend his title. Cage then says Nick has the audacity to call himself the new face of AEW and he has every tool to be that, but he’ll have to go through him to get there. Cage then informs Nick and Sabian that he’s disowning the both of them. Mother Wayne then looks to slap Cage, but Cage catches her hand. Cage then spots Sabian sneaking up behind him, but not Nick sneaking up on the other side of him. Mother Wayne then hands Nick and Sabian a pair of chairs, then both hit Cage with them with a double Con-Chair-To. Nick then tells Cage that he disowns him and turns his back on him.

Commentary then says they’ll have an update on Christian Cage when it is made available and we head to the back to hear from FTR and Big Stoke. Stoke says he has a message for a few people, including Cope who he reminds is banned from the building tonight. Stoke then addresses Bang Bang Gang ahead of the Tag Title Eliminator Match tomorrow night on Collision before they are cut off by the Young Bucks. We then get a bit of chat as FTR congratulates the Bucks on their win tonight, talking about the possibility of facing them in the finals before walking off. Stoke then has a bit of fun at the expense of The Young Bucks before leaving much to the chagrin of Matthew and Nicholas.

AEW World Championship Match: “Hangman” Adam Page (c) vs. The Death Riders’ Jon Moxley

The match starts off with both men staring each other down as the crowd is firmly behind Page. Both men then lock up and that leads to Moxley taking Page to the corner, but Page does not break away. Moxley is then forced to make the break before blindsiding Page for a forearm. Page then fights back and sends Moxley to the corner for some strikes before backing away. Both men then return to the middle of the ring for a series of chops until Moxley takes a bite out of Page. Moxley then sends Page to the corner, but takes a boot to the face. Moxley is then caught in a choke by Page before breaking free. The action then spills to the outside as Page sends Moxley into the barricade for more damage, but the referee’s count forces him back to the ring. Page then hits a sliding lariat for a two count.

Page then heads to the apron and looks for a Buckshot Lariat, but Moxley sends him off the apron and onto the announce desk, where he sets Page up for a piledriver. Page then counters Moxley with a Dead Eye. The referee then checks on both men, but Page quickly sends Moxley back into the ring for a cover that gets him a two count. Moxley is back up as is Page, with the fight heading to the corner where Page gets caught on a moonsault but counters right into a tombstone piledriver for a near fall. Page then looks for a series of kicks to the head and neck of Moxley, but Moxley fights out of it and puts Page in a bulldog choke. Page then tries to get to the ropes, but a gator roll from Moxley pulls him away. Page then fights to his feet to finally break free and sets up for a Lebell Lock on Moxley.

Moxley then struggles for a bit before crawling over to get his boot on the rope, forcing the break. The action then makes its way to the apron where Page goes for a Dead Eye, but Moxley hits a piledriver on Page onto the hardest part of the ring. Moxley then sends Page back into the ring and hits him with a Gotch-style piledriver. Moxley then goes for a cover, but Page kicks out. Page then escapes a DDT attempt before both men go back at it in the middle of the ring.

Page then hits a few shots and sends Moxley out of the ring, then follows it up with a moonsault off the top. Page then sends Moxley back in the ring for a Buckshot Lariat, but Moxley counters before Page turns it around for a Dead Eye. He then knocks the referee down in the process. Marina Shafir then hands the title to Moxley to lay out Page. Moxley then goes for a cover, but Page kicks out at two. The referee then sees Shafir at ringside and immediately ejects her per the stipulation. Security then brings her and the Death Riders away through the crowd, where Darby hits the Death Riders with a dive from the opera box. Page then hits Moxley with a Buckshot Lariat, but Moxley goes for a sleeper after. Page then hits a Dead Eye on Moxley and hits another Buckshot Lariat for the win.

We then get a video package looking at the upcoming TNT Championship Match between reigning TNT Champion Dustin Rhodes vs. Kyle Fletcher in a Chicago Street Fight.

Tag Team Match: AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm and Alex Windsor vs. ROH Women’s World Champion “The Fallen Goddess” Athena and Billie Starkz

The match starts off with Athena and Alex Windsor and both women trade holds until Athena takes Windsor down. A tag is then made to Storm, who looks for a scrap with the Athena. Athena then evades Storm long enough to tag in Starkz instead. Starkz then offers a handshake, but it was a ruse as she hits a snapmare on Storm. Storm then fights back from the ropes for a dropkick and a backbreaker before Windsor tags in for a double team. They then take turns attacking Starkz in the corner before hitting one last shot on Starkz.

Athena then rushes in, but she is quickly dispatched before Windsor goes back after Starkz and sends her to the ropes for a DDT to get a near fall before Athena breaks it up. Athena and Starkz then drop Storm to the floor, but is quickly fought off by Windsor who sends Starkz back in the ring to get back on the attack. Athena then tags in for a double team and hits Windsor with a spinebuster. Starkz then makes the tag for a double team with Athena on Windsor. This then gets Storm riled up, forcing the referee to intervene and allowing Starkz to get even more damage in on Windsor before bringing her to the center of the ring. Windsor then fights back, but misses a discus punch when Starkz evades but hits a headbutt to send her to the mat. Athena then manages to get a tag in and keeps Windsor away while Starks pulls Storm off the apron.

Windsor then sends Athena to the corner and uses the ropes for speed before hitting her with a lariat. She then hits a Liger Bomb for a near fall before Starkz breaks it up. Storm then rushes in and gets attacked by Athena, who gets driven down hard for a cover by Windsor. This is then broken up by a senton atomico by Starkz. A tag is then made to Storm and she goes off on Athena and Starkz who gets the tag in, but are sent to the mat with a Lou Thesz press. This is then followed up by a German suplex sending Starkz to the corner. Storm then sets up for a hip attack just after Athena sneaks in a blind tag. Athena then hits Storm with the O Face for the win.

After the match, Starkz sends Windsor into the barricade to keep her away, while Athena tells Storm that it’s only a matter of time before she gets the title and that her time is forever.

We then head to the back, where we hear from AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page, but he is quickly interrupted by MJF who is upset about Page not wanting to defend the title against him unless he executes his World Title contract. MJF then brings up Swerve Strickland to rile up Page, but this gets turned around on MJF when Page tells him that if he wants to go after the title he needs to face and beat Mark Briscoe, a man he has respected for over a decade. MJF then just scoffs at this before walking away.

We then head to another backstage area, where Willow Nightingale talks about getting a match made for Collision against Thekla. Nightingale then promises to take out all eight legs of the Toxic Spider.

Ricochet vs. Mark Briscoe

The match starts off with Mark Briscoe getting the upper hand early before Ricochet sends him to the corner to turn things around. Briscoe then manages to take the fight back to Ricochet and hit him with a vertical suplex for a near fall. Ricochet then starts to fight back with strikes before getting sent into the corner by Briscoe, who follows it up with a scoop slam. Briscoe then sends Ricochet to the corner for some chops before Ricochet hits back. Ricochet is then sent out of the ring with a chop. GOA then make their way out as Ricochet tries to take advantage, but he gets knocked away before Briscoe gets distracted by GOA long enough for Ricochet to send him out of the ring.

Ricochet is then hit with a dropkick by Briscoe, who sets the chair up for a dive over the ropes. He then sends Ricochet back in the ring and keeps him down when Ricochet tries to fight back. Froggy Bow attempt is then cut off and this allows Ricochet to hit the Vertigo. Ricochet then for for a cover, but Briscoe manages to kick out at two. Brody King and Bandido have had enough of the GOA involvement and they rush down to the ring to deal with them as Briscoe takes a series of strikes by Ricochet. Briscoe then sets Ricochet up for a Jay Driller. Ricochet then escapes, but takes a lariat instead. Briscoe then hits Ricochet with the Jay Driller for the win.

After the match, Briscoe has no time for a celebration as he grabs a mic to call out MJF for invoking his brother’s name not just once but twice. He then says he has never felt like this, recognizing that his brother is up in heaven chillin’ in that mansion. Briscoe then says he may never be forgiven for what he’s going to do to MJF. Briscoe then says he is worried and he tells MJF to make his day and give him the match right here and right now.

MJF’s music then hits but he doesn’t make his way down to the ring. MJF instead appears on the big screen and says just because Briscoe sounds serious, it doesn’t mean he has to take him seriously. MJF then informs Briscoe that they will have a singles match next week, but MJF sneaks up behind Briscoe and low blows him. MJF then asks who the coward is now after “Hangman” Adam Page called him such tonight and places his Dynamite Diamond Ring on his pinkie, but Page makes his way down to the ring. Briscoe then looks to hit a Jay Driller on MJF, but MJF runs all the way up the ramp to avoid being hit with the move. Page and Mark then stand tall in the ring as the show comes to a close.
