Joe Hendry made his most recent appearance for WWE at NXT Homecoming this week, Where he was involved in a segment with Bobby Roode, Charlie Dempsey, and Wren Sinclair. Roode told Hendry to focus on the NXT Championship.
According to a new report from The Takedown on SI, Hendry is actually being phased out of TNA and that the plan is for him to be a regular, consistently featured talent on WWE TV.
Alba adds that The expectation within both companies is that Hendry will be WWE-bound on a full-time basis by the beginning of 2026.
Some fans online have speculated that Hendry has already signed with WWE. However, TNA President Carlos Silva clarified to The Takedown that Hendry remains under contract with TNA for now. He stated that WWE NXT and TNA are working together to coordinate Hendry’s appearances as part of their partnership.
Only one of Joe Hendry’s last eight matches have been for TNA, with the rest all being for WWE.
