DarkState put the NXT Tag Team Championships on the line against Leon Slater and Je’Von Evans at tonight NXT Gold Rush. This was DarkState’s first defense since winning the titles back on October 25, 2025 at NXT Halloween Havoc, where Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin beat The Broken Hardys in a Broken Rules match to take the belts.
After some back-and-forth, Leon hits a handspring kick on Saquon and Osiris hits a clothesline. Dion then hits a Doomsday Device for the win.
