A major update has emerged on the TNA Wrestling contract status of The Hardy Boyz.
According to Fightful Select, Matt & Jeff Hardy have not officially signed new contracts with TNA. However, they noted that a deal is expected to be done very soon with a potential long-term agreement. It has also been speculated internally that the two are the highest-paid talent in the promotion.
The Hardys are viewed as instrumental in helping TNA secure its new television deal with AMC, with sources indicating the legendary duo was a major selling point during negotiations. In fact, TNA President Carlos Silva recently tweeted that he “looked forward to working with the Hardys for years to come.” However, a TNA source clarified that the brothers had not signed new deals at that time.
The brothers are four-time TNA World Tag Team Champions and are at 154 days in their current reign. They also held the NXT Tag Team titles this year and have made several appearances on Tuesday nights as part of the crossover.
