Jon Moxley Wins Continental Classic At AEW Worlds End

The Continental Classic semifinals kicked off the Worlds End pay-per-view and Kazuchika Okada defeats Konosuke Takeshita to advance to the final.

In the other semifinal, Jon Moxley faced off against Kyle Fletcher after some back and forth Moxley ending up advancing to the finals when he locked in the Bulldog Choke and Kyle Fletcher passed out.

This set up a big title match near the end of the night between Kazuchika Okada and Moxley. Moxley put Okada away with the Paradigm Shift to win the tournament and end Okada’s 648-day reign as AEW Continental Champion.

Post-match, the rest of the Death Riders came out to celebrate with Moxley. Moxley cut a promo about how the title belongs to the wrestlers who worked hard in the tournament and the fans who paid to see and support pro wrestling. It was a babyface promo. He said that the hardest-working wrestlers in pro wrestling are in AEW.
