The Road to WrestleMania will officially begin on January 31 at this year’s WWE Royal Rumble premium live event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
According to Bodyslam+, WWE now has clear plans in place for WrestleMania 42, as long as there won’t be any injuries or unforeseen circumstances to take place. It was noted that the majority of the top cards are already penciled in for a match.
WrestleMania 42 is set to return to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 18th and 19th. Meanwhile, the Royal Rumble has one official match set beyond its regular men’s and women’s Rumble matches. Drew McIntyre, who captured the Undisputed WWE Championship on the January 9th, episode of Smackdown, will put the title on the line. His opponent will be determined at Saturday Night’s Main Event on January 24th in a Fatal Four-Way match.
The qualifying matches for the #1 contenders match will take place next week on SmackDown:
* Randy Orton vs. The Miz.
* Matt Cardona vs. Trick Williams.
* Damian Priest vs. Solo Sikoa.
* Sami Zayn vs. Ilja Dragunov.
