AEW Worlds End opens up with some pyro shooting off the stage and we get a video package centered around the rising tensions between Konosuke Takeshita and Kazuchika Okada.
Konosuke Takeshita then makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the PPV and Kazuchika Okada follows.
Continental Classic Semifinal Match: Don Callis Family’s AEW Unified Champion and AEW Continental Champion “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada vs. Don Callis Family’s IWGP World Heavyweight Champion “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita
The match starts off with both men staring each other down and we get a “holy s–t” and AEW chant from the crowd. Okada then extends a hand to Takeshita, but Takeshita slaps it in a slight show of sportsmanship despite their differences. Both men then lock up and Okada wrings the arm of Takeshita. Takeshita then reverses it, putting the pressure on Okada. The exchange then brings them to the ropes, which forces a break from the referee. Both men then oblige, coming back to the middle of the ring for another exchange. This then ends with Okada taking Takeshita to the mat for a toe hold. Takeshita then starts to fight back, leading to a side headlock from Okada. Takeshita then fights to his feet before being brought to the ropes by Okada, who obliges with a break before booting Takeshita in the gut.
Back in the middle we go as both men pick up the pace, with Takeshita narrowly dodging a Rainmaker lariat for a flying clothesline off the ropes to take Okada to the canvas. He then gets a headscissor on Okada while going after the arm, but Okada manages to break free to get to the outside. Takeshita then follows him, but gets sent to the barricade for his efforts before Okada catches him with a drop toe hold, sending Takeshita face first into a chair. He then follows it up with a suplex sending Takeshita to the floor and he sends him into the barricade before bringing the fight back into the ring. Okada then goes for a cover, but only gets a near fall before Takeshita gets back to his feet. Okada then mocks him, offering a free shot that Takeshita takes before Okada drops him to the mat with a DDT.
Okada then goes for a cover, but he only gets a two count. With both men back up, they start going at it once more before Takeshita drops Okada with a brainbuster. He then brings Okada back up to send to the ropes and despite Okada ducking a clothesline he ends up taking a hurricanrana that sends him to the outside. Takeshita then gets the drop on him with a dive. He then quickly brings Okada back into the ring to stop the referee’s count.
Takeshita then charges from the corner, taking Okada out with a boot followed by an exploder suplex sending him to the canvas. He then goes to work on the neck of Okada, but Okada goes after Takeshita’s face to force a break. Okada is in the corner and he hits Takeshita with a backpack neckbreaker before setting up for an elbow drop from the top rope. He then flips off both the crowd and Takeshita. Takeshita then gets to his feet to hit some hard strikes on Okada. Both men then go back and forth until Okada gets rocked, dropping to a knee. Okada is back up and both men go back and forth once again until Okada sends Takeshita to his knees with an uppercut. He then looks for a tombstone piledriver, but Takeshita counters and hits a modified tombstone followed by a wheelbarrow suplex. He then brings Okada to his feet, but gets caught by the Rainmaker only to counter the lariat into a Blue Thunder Bomb, which gets him a near fall.
Takeshita then gets to the corner for a Power Drive Knee, but Okada blocks it before hitting a Rainmaker lariat that Takeshita just absorbs, seemingly unfazed as he doesn’t drop down. He then hits a couple of forearms but takes a Rainmaker lariat dropping him to the mat. Okada then holds on to the wrist for a second one, bringing Takeshita to this feet but Takeshita counters with a headbutt. Okada then manages to fight back with a German suplex, looking for another Rainmaker lariat before Takeshita counters for a roll up and a two count.
Okada is back on his feet and answers with a pair of dropkicks, but a Rainmaker lariat gets blocked again as Takeshita hits the Power Drive Knee for the cover and Okada kicks out. Takeshita is back up, but gets knocked away as Okada heads to the corner where he pulls out a screwdriver from underneath the turnbuckle pad. Takeshita then hits him with a knee to the back, looking for a Rainmaker lariat of his own but Okada ducks it, hiding the screwdriver just out of the referee’s sight when he hits a Rainmaker lariat on Takeshita for the win.

Another lock up then ends with Fletcher going after the hand of Moxley, who breaks free to hit a hard chop. Fletcher then leaves the ring for a quick breather, returning just to break the referee’s count before leaving once again. Moxley then unloads on Fletcher on the outside. Back in the ring, Fletcher continues his assault on Moxley’s left leg and the ref intervenes with a count as Fletcher tells him he has until five. Fletcher then brings Moxley to the middle for a leg lock, but Moxley manages to break free. Fletcher then leaves the ring as he is dealing with a tooth issue and this gives Moxley an opening for a dive. He then gets caught up in the ropes and he nearly takes as much damage. Moxley then sends Fletcher into the ring but is dealing with the pain and this allows Moxley to nail him for a near fall.
Moxley is back up as he looks for a clothesline, but Fletcher is barely fazed as he mocks Moxley. Moxley then responds with another clothesline before hitting the ropes for a third one that sends Fletcher to the mat. This then leads to him twisting his ankle and he favors it on the mat himself. Both men then make it to their feet for an exchange of strikes. Back and forth they go until Moxley sends Fletcher toward the corner, where he sets up for some mounted punches until Fletcher drops him to the outside. Fletcher then looks for a kick from the apron, but it is blocked and Fletcher hits a thrust kick when Moxley steps onto the apron, setting up for a brainbuster onto the hardest part of the ring.
Moxley is dazed and confused on the floor as Fletcher slowly makes his way up to get back into the ring, demanding the referee to begin the count. We then get a count of nine before Moxley narrowly gets back into the ring and he runs right into a Liger Bomb by Fletcher for a two count. Fletcher then immediately changes into a single leg crab, keeping Moxley trapped in the middle of the ring before focusing on the ankle. He then extends it back and Moxley puts him in a bulldog choke. Fletcher is now trapped, but he manages to finally break free and he goes for an ankle lock. He then settles in for a grapevine hold as well and Moxley is wriggling and inching his way to the ropes and he finally gets to the bottom rope for the break.
Moxley then starts to fight back and Fletcher sends him to the corner, but Moxley gets a bite out of him to break free. Fletcher then goes after Moxley again, but an avalanche cutthroat suplex sends both men to the mat with Fletcher taking the brunt of the damage. Fletcher then struggles to get up as Moxley hits the ropes for a curb stomp. He has a hard time, but manages to get a cover on Fletcher. Fletcher then counters with a crucifix for a two of his own. Both men then go back and forth and Fletcher drops Moxley, but only gets a one count. Moxley is firing himself up as Fletcher heads to the corner and he hits Moxley with a sheer drop brainbuster. Fletcher then goes for a cover, but Moxley kicks out.
Both men then slowly get to their feet, where Moxley acts defiant by flipping off before Fletcher drops him back down. He then heads to the corner, where he seems to be looking for something presumably the screwdriver, but to no avail as Okada tossed that under the ring earlier. He then looks in the next corner before turning his attention back to Moxley, who gets a small package on him for two. He then gets back up and hits a Death Rider DDT, but that only gets a two count as well. Fletcher then fights back, only to take a second Death Rider DDT. He then tries to get back up, but Moxley cinches in a bulldog choke and Fletcher passes out, leading to the referee calling for the bell.
The winner of the Continental Classic Semifinal Match, The Death Riders’ Jon Moxley!

He then grabs a fire extinguisher brought to the ring by Gunn and he uses it on Harwood to force the break. Joe and Page then square off until a Strickland assist leads to Page sending Joe out of the ring with a Buckshot Lariat and this gives both men staring each other down.
Strickland and Page then go at it, with Page getting out of a suplex attempt to roll Strickland up for two. Page then looks for a tombstone piledriver, but Strickland counters into a Dead Eye. He then goes to the corner for a House Call but Page dodges it, hitting a Buckshot Lariat on Strickland for the cover only for Joe to break the pin and save his title. Page then sends Joe away before going after Strickland in the corner, but a superplex attempt is intercepted by Joe for a powerbomb that sends both his opponents from the corner to the mat. A cover is then made on Page and Strickland that leads to a pair of near falls and Joe sends Page out of the ring before looking for a muscle buster on Strickland.
Strickland then breaks free, running to drop MJF to the mat before taking Joe down hard. Page then stops the momentum, but is brought to the corner by Strickland who then sends MJF back to the outside. This is all stopped by the return of Joe, who lays into Strickland and Page before MJF intervenes. He then fends off Joe in the corner before dropping Strickland onto Joe. He then blocks a Buckshot Lariat, bringing Page back into the ring for the Salt of the Earth but sees Joe cinching in a Coquina Clutch on Strickland and lets go to break that hold instead. Joe then puts the clutch in on MJF instead. The arm then drops down twice, but before we see what happens the third time Strickland breaks it up with a House Call. He then goes for Big Pressure on MJF, but MJF counters before hitting the ropes where he gets clobbered by Strickland.
Strickland and Page then go after each other before turning their attention to MJF and Joe. This then comes to an end with MJF fighting back, hitting a Long Island Sunrise on Strickland for the cover and a near fall. Page then takes out Joe, but before he can do anything more The Opps come running out to pull Page out of the ring. They then beat him down before sending him back in the ring, where Joe hits a muscle buster in the corner only for Page to kick out at two. HOOK then gets on the apron to argue as we see The Opps confronting Nana, but they take a Swerve Stomp by Strickland while Joe cinches in a Coquina Clutch on Page.
This then gets broken up by a Swerve Stomp and Page ends up being sent out as Strickland goes up top, but he gets knocked off by MJF. Strickland then goes after MJF as Page looks for a Buckshot Lariat only to run into a low blow by MJF, who sends him out of the ring before hitting the Heatseeker on Joe for the win.
