Andrade is gone from WWE Once Again.
Former WWE United States Champion Andrade was moved to the Alumni section of the company’s official website today.
According to a report from Fightful Select, Andrade had over 18 months left on his contract, and when asked in August about any potential injury status after having not wrestled since SummerSlam, Fightful was told that “If it was possible [for him to be booked], he would be.” Supposedly, his exit from WWE had been something in the works for a few weeks, rather than something that just now happened.
Andrade was last seen at the SummerSlam Premium Live Event, where he competed in a TLC match for the WWE Tag Team Championships.
This isn’t the first time Andrade has parted ways with WWE. He originally signed with the company in 2015, becoming NXT Champion before moving to the main roster. In 2021, he requested and was granted his release,Andrade signed with AEW in June of that year and remained there until late 2023 before returning to WWE at the 2024 Royal Rumble.
