This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown air live from the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, NC and the show featured Apollo Crews making a surprise return appearance to the blue brand.
During the show, an upset Kit Wilson was seen walking backstage following his loss to Oba Femi. Wilson saw Matt Cardona and Apollo Crews hanging out together and told Cardona that it is all his fault and claimed toxic masculinity was out before Matt came back. Cardona responded back telling Wilson if he wants to step up, he is always ready. Wilson responded back stating he needs a warm bath and walked away.
Crews had not appeared on WWE TV since January of 2025. He ended up being sidelined for the majority of the year due to a torn pec. He has been back in in-ring action since November, where he worked an AAA event, and he has wrestled in matches on WWE Main Event since his return.
