A new update has emerged regarding Wardlow torn pectoral muscle injury that he suffered just days after making his return at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door in August.
According to Fightful Select, Wardlow is not expected to back before the end of the year. The site notes that Many in the company are disappointed when Wardlow suffered his injury right after he returned after spending over a year away from the squared circle.
Doctors stated that it can take 6 months to a year to fully heal a torn pectoral muscle, especially if surgery is involved. Additionally, it was rumored that Wardlow’s injury affected creative plans for AEW, possibly going for the World Title against Hangman Page at All Out 2025. Instead, those plans changed, and Kyle Fletcher got the spot.
