During the April 18 episode of WWE Friday Night Smackdown it was announced that Cardi B will serve as the host of WWE’s first-ever two-night SummerSlam event, going down August 2 and 3 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
According to a report from Fightful Select, who reached out to WWE sources, the plans for Cardi B have not changed. After fans have questioned her status for the event, WWE sources confirmed that she is “still set for the Summerslam show” and that the company has “long been making plans for the event with her in mind.”
