This past Saturday’s WWE Royal Rumble 2026 event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia was notable for being the first time ever in WWE history that a Royal Rumble event was held outside of the United States and Canada. This was also the first time ever that WWE held a Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia. But now it looks like the event will be heading back to North America next year.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that the general chatter backstage at the WWE Royal Rumble premium live event was that the show will likely be held in a stadium in the United States in 2027.
There has long been discussion regarding WWE expanding the Royal Rumble premium live event to two nights, but the belief is that the 2027 Royal Rumble will remain a one night show.
