Backstage Update On LA Knight’s WWE Status

An update on LA Knight’s future in WWE. Following Attack from The Vision on RAW.

As seen during the December 8th 2025 edition of WWE RAW, LA Knight lost to The Vision’s Logan Paul due to an attack by the mystery masked man from Survivor Series. Afterwards, Knight was attacked in the parking lot and Bronson Reed gave him a Tsunami on top of a car. That ending led to some concern from wrestling fans who asked if Knight was being written off WWE TV. Now, we know more about his future.

Fightful Select is now reporting that multiple internal sources have confirmed that Knight is not leaving WWE. He re-signed with the company in 2024 and still has several years remaining on his current contract. One source said people within WWE were “confused” over the reaction online to the beatdown. They noted it was a story moment that will be revisited.

As for theories that Knight was being punished for holding up a “we want LA Knight, not Jey Uso” sign at a live event last month. Those close to creative dismissed that theory outright, with one person joking that booking Knight to beat Jey Uso would be “a weird punishment.”

We will keep you posted here at Prowrestlenew.com as updates regarding the WWE status of LA Knight continue to surface.
