Chad Gable Close To In-Ring Return

An update has emerged regarding the status of Chad Gable.

Chad Gable has been out of action since June as he’s been recovering from a shoulder injury. Prior to his injury Gable had been working as El Grande Americano, but the gimmick was given to Ludwig Kaiser after Gable was sidelined.

According to a new report from Fightful (via Fightful Select), Chad Gable could be on his way back to WWE TV soon. It was noted that Gable has been training at the WWE Performance Center for his return. This is currently planned to happen by the 2026 Royal Rumble, but “hopefully” before then.

Additionally, PWInsider.com (via PWInsider Elite) is reporting that Gable is expected to return “fairly soon.” It was noted that some WWE sources believe Gable could be back as soon as next week’s episode of WWE RAW. The January 5 episode of WWE RAW on Netflix takes place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Gable has not wrestled since successfully defending the WWE Speed title as El Grande Americano against Berto on a June 17 taping at the Performance Center.

Stay tuned for updates.
