The Main Event for this evening Monday Night Raw featured a five-man gauntlet match to determine who would challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam.
The match featured CM Punk, Jey Uso, LA Knight, Penta, and Bron Breakker.
In the near end of the match Punk was able to hit the GTS on Breakker for the pinfall victory. With the win, CM Punk has now officially earned a World Heavyweight Championship match against Gunther at SummerSlam.
After the match, Reed and Breakker continue beating Punk down. Reed then sets up for a Tsunami, but Roman Reigns’ music hits. He then takes Breakker down and hits a spear on Reed, then shakes Jey’s hand and helps Punk up. Reigns, Jey and Punk then stand tall as the show comes to an end.
