Darby Allin picked up the win at AEW WrestleDream, defeating Jon Moxley.
The bout starts off with Allin laying down an AEW flag in the middle of the ring before he hits a dropkick on Moxley. He then hits a tope suicida on him through the middle rope and sends Moxley back in the ring, but Shafir grabs Allin’s ankle to open the door for Moxley to hits a dropkick on Allin. He then wraps a chain around his hand, then uses it to wear Allin down with a crossface.
The match continued, Moxley nails Allin with a forearm back inside the ring, but Allin responds with one of his own. Both men then exchange forearms, but Allin looks to hit a Coffin Drop on Moxley as Moxley lays on the apron. Shafir then pulls Moxley out of the way before Allin can hit it.
Moxley then grabs his belt, then repeatedly lashes it across Allin and hits a piledriver on him. Claudio Castagnoli then appears and fills a tank of water as Shafir tosses Allin back in the ring.
Moxley then drowns Allin in the tank of water before the lights go out. When they come back on, Sting is standing in the ring and cinches in a sleeper on Moxley. PAC is in the ring, but Sting fights him off with his bat and stares down Shafir on the outside. He then carries Shafir to the back as Allin grabs Sting’s bat and repeatedly hits him with it across his spine.
He then uses the AEW flag to send Moxley crashing on top of the glass from the now broken tank, then cinches in a Sharpshooter on Moxley and Moxley quits.
