Dominik Mysterio has made history at AAA Worlds Collide as he defeated El Hijo del Vikingo in the main event to capture the AAA Mega Championship.
In the near end of the match The Judgment Day got involved in the match, but Rey Mysterio ran them off. However, El Grande Americano (Ludwig Kaiser) then interfered as well, eventually giving Dirty Dom something to slip into his mask. Mysterio hit a leaping headbut, followed by a frog splash, to win the title.
After the match, Rey Mysterio returns to the ring and puts the AAA Mega Championship around Dominik’s waist, having promised to do so earlier tonight if Dominik won. Dominik then demands that Rey leave immediately after and Rey does so. The rest of Judgment Day and El Grande Americano then join Dominik in the ring, with Americano hugging Dominik and holding up his hand.
