The finals are officially set for the Last Time is Now Tournament.
The Last Time Is Now Tournament continued on Raw this week and Jey Uso faced off against LA Knight in the first match of the night. It was the Megastar who ended up picking up the win to advance to the finals.
Later in the night Gunther faced off against Solo Sikoa and Talla Tonga stood at ringside while the match was taking place. At one point Talla Tonga attacked Gunther while the referee wasn’t looking. Throughout the match Gunther struggled as Solo Sikoa dominated The Ring General.
Near the end of the match Solo pulled a turnbuckle pad off and the referee spotted it. While the ref was putting the turnbuckle pad back on Talla Tonga attacked Gunther again. Solo tried to join in, but the referee stopped him. Gunther rolled Solo back into the ring then hit him with a low blow while the ref wasn’t looking. He followed up with a powerbomb on Solo to win the match.
After the match, The Megastar walked to the ring and confronted Gunther, wishing the former World Heavyweight Champion best, as the two are scheduled to lock horns in the finals this Friday on WWE SmackDown. The upcoming first-time-ever showdown will determine who faces John Cena at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13.
