Harley Cameron has opened up about her battles with imposter syndrome, During a recent edition of the “Marking Out” podcast
She said: “And it’s the thing—it’s hard because there are definitely times where I think, ‘Oh, do I deserve this?’ And other people have been grinding way longer than I have.”
She continued “But when you’re given an opportunity and it’s your dream, what are you going to do? Are you going to turn it down? You don’t go, ‘No, no, no, they’ve been waiting longer than I have,’ right? But you also can’t go, ‘No, thank you. I really would like to get more reps under my belt.’”
Imposter syndrome is a feeling where a person doubts their abilities and fears being exposed as a fraud, even when there is clear evidence of their accomplishments. It can affect people in any profession, especially when their rise feels quicker than expected.
Cameron made her AEW debut in July 2022 and joined the ATV stable the following year. She turned face in 2025 when she feuded with TBS Champion Mercedes Mone.
