Jazmyn Nyx has officially confirmed her departure from WWE
During This Week episode of WWE NXT, Jazmyn Nyx was found laid out backstage as Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley walked up. Jayne thought Henley was with Nyx, but that wasn’t the case. Jayne quickly dismissed the attack, saying it was time to drop Nyx and that only the strong survive.
It was reported earlier today by PWInsider that Nyx’s WWE contract is expiring and that she opted not to re-sign.
Jazmyn Nyx took to her Instagramand uploaded a video and explained her choice not to re-sign with WWE.
She Said: “As you know, there have been things circulating and I want to just set the record straight. I’m not re-signing with WWE. This was a personal decision I had to make for myself and my future. Personally, the contract that they were offering me for the next three years wasn’t going to cut it for me financially, and that’s okay.”
Before joining WWE, Nyx played professional soccer in Iceland until she was recruited by the company, an opportunity she remains thankful for. She also mentioned that she was off television for a brief period with a concussion, though she did not specify when that occurred. Nyx noted that she had to turn down other opportunities during her time with WWE and is now able to focus on those ventures. She ended by thanking her fans for their support.
