A Coffin match took place at today AEW All Out between Darby Allin and Jon Moxley. This match was already filled with chaos, as Darby hit a Coffin Drop off a balcony onto Moxley. This then slows things down before both men get back up and at it as Moxley regains control bringing Allin back toward ringside. He then slams Allin down hard and mocks him only for Allin to throw a drink at him to turn things around. The brawl between both men then reaches the ringside area as Allin takes a bite out of Moxley to regain the upper hand.
Moxley then manages to send Allin into the coffin to get back into things. The coffin is then opened, but we see Allin climb up to get the drop on Moxley and both men is sent into the coffin and it breaks.
The rest of the Death Riders then arrive at ringside to help Moxley bring a coffin into the ring. Moxley then talks about giving Allin one more chance before telling the rest of the Death Riders to head to the back except Shafir. Moxley then slides into the ring and he stares down Allin as we see Shafir heading to the back. Moxley then gets the coffin open as he brings Allin toward it and he slams the lid shut on Allin’s hand.
then grabs the fork, but Allin stops him from using it. Moxley then start biting him. Moxley then props Allin onto the coffin and hits a Death Rider DDT that sends Allin face-first onto the coffin. Moxley then opens the coffin to put Allin in, but Allin has a pipe in his hand and that helps block the coffin from being closed.
He then attacks Moxley before leaving the ring, where we see Danielson next to a duffel bag telling Allin to do it. Allin then obliges and opens the duffel bag to reveal a large plastic bag.
He then slides back into the ring and puts the bag over the head of Moxley to choke him out before slamming him to the canvas. Moxley then tears the bag open as Allin sends him into the coffin, only for PAC to arrive and intervene. He then hoists Allin up before sending him over the top rope onto the coffin outside. He then sends Allin back into the ring and grabs a body bag from nearby before putting him into the bag and zipping it up. He then puts Allin into the coffin and closes the lid for the win.
