Latest Update On Adam Cole’s AEW Status

A new update has emerged regarding Adam Cole’s absence from the ring due to health concerns.

As we previously reported here at Prowrestlenew, Cole announced at AEW All In: Texas back in July that he was dealing with medical issues and would be stepping away for a while. At the time, he was the reigning TNT Champion but was forced to vacate the title.

Cole has not appeared on AEW television since the announcement, and it has been confirmed that he’s dealing concussion-related issues. Sean Ross Sapp was asked about him in the latest Fightful Select Answers Q&A. It was noted that at last word, he was still dealing with those issues.

The Site also noted that there are currently no creative plans for Cole’s return, and he hasn’t been involved in any storylines. Tony Khan wants to keep Cole part of AEW as long as he can. Cole has not been on the road, as that would potentially slow down his recovery process.

At this time, there is no timetable for when Adam Cole might return to television.
