On the October 21st, episode of WWE NXT Leon Slater retained the TNA Wrestling X Division Championship over Stacks. The match ended with Slater putting Stacks away with the Swanton 450 to retain the X Division Championship. After the match Slater and Je’Von Evans were talking about how they wanted to take part in the upcoming Halloween Havoc premium live event this Saturday.
While they were speaking, they were quickly interrupted by AAA stars Mr. Iguana and La Parka, who said that they spoke to NXT General Manager Ava backstage and are now set to be Slater’s and Evans’ opponents for the event.
