Nic Nemeth discusses the TNA-WWE partnership.
WWE and TNA announced a multi-year partnership in January. Since then, TNA stars have appeared regularly on NXT TV.
Speaking to KVIA ABC-7, Nemeth shared his thoughts on the partnership.
“It’s great because the territories went away 40, 50 years ago and now being able to bounce around to different companies, different rosters, different independent shows, something in the Northeast, something in the Southeast, something in the West Coast, you get to feel the different crowds, the different people. You get to learn from different people.
“Since COVID, WWE’s schedule went from five nights a week to one or two, so you don’t have as many nights a week to give back and teach the young up-and-comers.
“So having that NXT crossover with TNA, where you don’t know who’s gonna show up on Impact, you don’t know who’s going to show up on NXT on Tuesday nights. Having to go back and forth and get matches you thought you were never going to see, but most importantly to me, getting some of their young talent on our show, some experience on TV and getting some of our young talent on their show, even more experience.
“It has been absolutely fruitful so far and it will only get better from here on out.” H/T to to WrestleTalk.com for the transcription.
