Tony D’Angelo’s is heading to the main roster very soon.
According to WrestleVotes Radio, Tony D’Angelo’s name has recently been brought up in WWE creative meetings, with some expecting him to move up to the main roster before the end of the year.
The report also addressed the future of D’Angelo’s “mobster style gimmick.” While some characters undergo significant changes when they move to the main roster, the current plan is for D’Angelo to keep his established persona, albeit with some minor refinements. He is also said to have a strong reputation within the company.
