PAC vs. Darby Allin took place at the AEW Full Gear.
The match starts off with both men locking up and Allin getting a waist lock before PAC breaks free, only to be taken to the mat by Allin. PAC then fights to his feet as he tries to escape a wristlock, but Allin gets a Magistral for a two count. He then hits an arm drag and holds onto the arm and shoulder, but PAC is back up sending him to the corner to force a break.
PAC then takes his time getting back in the ring and Allin takes him off his game with a series of near falls as a result. Allin then cinches in a side headlock and just as PAC starts to get back up he gets sent to the canvas with a takedown.
PAC then manages to counter out of this finally, locking in a headscissors until Allin breaks free for a modified Scorpion Deathlock but PAC gets to the ropes to force a break. The fight then ends up on the apron, where PAC hits an elbow shot before hoisting Allin up for a press slam to the floor.
Allin is struggling hard as the referee begins the count, reaching eight when Allin finally gets to his feet and onto the apron. He then barely gets into the ring when PAC stomps away at him, pulling the bandages off Allin’s arm before attacking the burned areas for added damage.
Allin then goes to the ropes looking to get back up, but this allows PAC to go after him some more before pulling him into the middle rope and getting a near fall.
Allin then slowly gets up in the corner before PAC pulls him for a hammer throw into the ring post and the impact sends him all the way out to the floor. Allin is then given little time to recover as PAC comes out to bring him into the ring once more, dropping him hard for the cover but only getting a two count.
PAC then turns back around to go after Allin, but Allin hits him with a lariat before going to the ropes for a Coffin Drop that gets blocked by PAC. PAC then hits the ropes for a lariat of his own. PAC then goes for a cover, but Allin kicks out. PAC then locks in the Brutalizer on Allin. Allin then scrambles to finally reach the bottom rope with his foot to force a break as the crowd chants “this is awesome.” PAC then delivers some right hands on Allin, then climbs to the top rope and hits him with a Black Arrow.
Allin then moves out of the way and cinches in the Scorpion Death Lock on PAC. Wheeler Yuta then makes his way down to the ring and distracts Allin and the referee. PAC then picks up Sting’s baseball bat and hits Allin with it, then sends it out of the ring and pins Allin for the win.
