Report – Two Big Plans Were Scrapped For WWE Wrestlepalooza

In the opening match of WWE Wrestlepalooza WWE fans were in disbelief when Brock lesnar defeated John Cena, However that wasn’t the original plan.

According to the latest report from BodySlam.Net,” Cena was actually booked to win the match.

“Sources indicate that as of Saturday morning, John Cena was scheduled to defeat Brock Lesnar at WrestlePalooza.

Before Wrestlepalooza, it was announced that Lesnar and Cena would open the show. Fans believed it was because Lesnar wanted to fly out as soon as possible. but Fightful Select reported differently. According to the outlet, ESPN wanted a “big title match” like Cody Rhodes vs. Drew McIntyre to close the night instead. However,  cleared the air.

“It was not changed because Brock wanted to fly out early. It’s because of the creative, but ESPN had wanted Cody and Drew McIntyre for the pomp and circumstance surrounding a world title match.”
