During an appearance on Good Morning Football on the NFL Network on Friday, October 31, the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion confirmed that he is going to be on the sidelines from in-ring action for six months.

“I wish. I wish I could rip this thing off man but I’m out guy… Six months. My World Championship is gonna be worn by some schmuck. Either Jey Uso or CM Punk. It’s awful. It really is the Halloween scaries, guys, but I’m here…”

Six months from now would put Rollins out until just after WWE WrestleMania 41, which takes place on April 18 and 19, 2026.

Seth Rollins suffered a shoulder injury during his match against Cody Rhodes at WWE Crown Jewel on October 11. With The injury happened he had no other options but to just relinquish the World Heavyweight Championship, with the new champion set to be decided at Saturday Night’s Main Event tomorrow in a match between CM Punk and Jey Uso.
