The Hardys Retain Tag Titles Against Team 3D At TNA Bound For Glory

At TNA Bound For Glory, Matt and Jeff Hardy face off against Bully Ray and Brother Devon in a Tables Match for both the TNA and NXT Tag Team Championships.

The match starts off with both teams staring each other down. We then get “holy s–t” chants from the crowd and the two legendary teams face off. The chants then continue, leading to dueling chants for both teams. Jeff then charges at Bully Ray, but gets sent out of the ring and Team 3D hits Matt with a 3D when he tries to fight them off. Matt is then sent out of the ring as Jeff comes in.

Bully then sets the table up, while D’Von pulls out a second one and they hit Jeff with a 3D through the first table. Matt then comes in with a chair to fend off Team 3D. They then bring Matt to the outside before D’Von grabs a chair, but Matt fights back with a Twist of Fate to the floor.

He then sets D’Von up on the table and hops onto the apron for a running elbow drop, but D’Von leaves the table and Matt goes through it instead. Commentary then reminds us that you have to offensively drive an opponent through the table for it to count, but the damage is done as Jeff tries to get back into it.

The Hardys then hit some chairs once again and lays them into the back of Bully Ray as he uses the table to get to his feet. He then slowly turns around to face The Hardys, who drop the chairs to the mat before grabbing Bully to hoist him up. They then hit a double uranage that sends Bully through the table for the win.

After the victory, the Hardys helped Team 3D to their feet and the challengers got a “Thank You Dudleys” chant. Bully Ray and D-Von then unlaced their boots and handed them to Matt and Jeff, seemingly signaling their retirement. The Hardys then embraced their rivals.
