The Rascalz is now officially part of the AEW roster. According to a report from Fightful Select, multiple sources have confirmed The Rascalz (Trey Miguel, Zachary Wentz, Dezmond Xavier and Myron Reed) have all signed multi-year contracts with AEW and are now backstage at AEW Dynamite: Maximum Carnage at the Arizona Financial Theater in Phoenix, Arizona.
The report notes it is believed the faction finalized multi-year deals with AEW the first week of January. Their contracts with TNA expired at the end of 2025. It was also said that TNA Wrestling made a strong effort to re-sign them to new deals, but AEW made a much more attractive offer. Furthermore, it was added The Rascalz handled their departure from TNA very professionally and they all left on good terms.
The report goes on to say that at least one member of The Rascalz was firm on not re-signing with TNA, which then led to all four men moving on from the company.
Myron Reed was pulled from a previously advertised match against Leon Slater on the debut episode of TNA iMPACT! on AMC. Reed was still willing to work the show, but the bout was canceled after WWE expressed interest in booking Slater for their European tour the same week.
