Aurora McMahon, the daughter of Stephanie McMahon and Triple H, made it crystal clear when she was very young that she does not want her mother’s or father’s job; she wants her grandfather Vince McMahon’s position in the wrestling business.
Speaking on the What’s Your Story podcast, Stephanie discussed Aurora’s aspirations to be in the business before allegations against her granddad, Vince McMahon.
[Aurora] loves the business, she always has,” Stephanie said. “I was pregnant on the road. […] She was on the road till she was about three, maybe a little older. […] She once said, ‘Mommy, I don’t want your job. Daddy [Triple H], I don’t want your job. I want Pops’ [Vince McMahon] job.’ So, she wanted to be the boss from the get-go.”
Stephanie also recalled the exact moment Aurora fell in love with wrestling during a DX match in Waco, Texas. “It was DX… and they were getting the heat on Sean, and then they made the hot tag to Paul [Triple H], and like, I could feel her on my shoulders, get excited,” McMahon said. “And she understood the beats of the match… And then after the match was over… he takes her off my shoulders and parades her. And when [he] handed her back to me, her eyes were like this, wide, oh. And I was like, ‘Oh no. She got bit by the bug in that moment.’… I knew exactly the moment, two years old.”
