WWE NXT could be hitting the road more often for its weekly TV tapings.
According to a report by Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select, WWE is internally discussing an expanded travel schedule for NXT television beginning in 2026. The idea behind the move is to give more NXT talent consistent reps on the road, helping performers gain valuable experience working in front of different crowds and environments.
The CW Network, which airs NXT in the United States, is said to be fully supportive of the plan. Network officials reportedly believe that taking NXT on the road will create fresh energy for the brand, improving both fan engagement and television presentation.
Despite the potential increase in road shows, there are no current plans to completely abandon the WWE Performance Center as a filming location. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Selectconfirmed that the Performance Center will likely remain the primary home base for the brand, even if touring dates increase.
