WWE NXT Results 8/26/25

On August 26, 2025, WWE hosted a new episode of NXT on The CW from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Here are the results for the show.

Ricky Saints’ music hits and Saints makes his way down to the ring. Saints then grabs a microphone and starts off by saying that is why he wanted to kick off NXT the right way, the Ricky way. Saints then says everyone saw what happened at Heatwave. Saints then says he will put his money behind Je’Von Evans, but ultimately, it was Oba Femi who proved he is the NXT Champion. Saints then says he has been here for six months. Saints then says he has been North American champion, he has taken down monsters and he has faced the best of the best. Saints then says he wants what is in Oba’s possession. Saints then says there are a lot of talented people in the locker room, but why not now to achieve the impossible. Saints then says he is the one and he calls out Oba Femi.

Josh Briggs’ music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Briggs then tells Saints not to get carried away because he isn’t getting Oba. Briggs then tells Saints he has acted like he is a gift to this business. Briggs then says he will give Saints the rare Josh Briggs compliment. Briggs then says Saints is the real thing. Briggs then says he is sick of dealing with the outsiders like Saints and Inamura getting shots that they don’t deserve.

Saints then says he should have stopped Briggs when he interrupted his entrance. Saints then says there is no doubt how tough Briggs is, but there is no way he is standing in the back of the line. Saints then says Briggs should walk out here and look like Sid from Toy Story and he says that he needs to know his position. Saints then says he is the line. Saints then says Briggs thinks he is right, but he knows he is right. Saints then challenges Briggs to a match. Ava then stops things before they throw any punches. Ava then says she has an announcement to make. Ava then says no one has heard from Je’Von Evans since Heatwave so she needs to find a new number one contender. Ava then says they have both made compelling cases. Ava then says the two will meet in the ring tonight and the winner faces Oba at No Mercy.

We then go to footage of Blake Monroe asking Ava for a title match, but Kelani Jordan interrupts and says Blake has to go to the back of the line. Blake then asks Jordan if she is angry she lost. Kelani then says she didn’t get pinned. Ava then tells them they will have a match on NXT. Jordan then says she will make an example of her. Blake then says Ava isn’t a good GM.

Singles Match: “The Glamour” Blake Monroe vs. Kelani Jordan

The match starts off with Jordan hitting a drop kick and a rollup, then getting a bridge for a near fall. Jordan then gets a jackknife cover for a near fall. Blake then gets a rollup for a near fall and Jordan gets a rollup of her own. Blake then hits a head butt. Jordan then hits a thrust kick. Blake then stops a handspring move and hits a Stroke and some punches. Blake then hits a drop kick for a near fall.

Blake then puts Jordan against the turnbuckles and hits some forearms to the back. Blake then blocks a kick and hits a forearm. Blake then gets an arm wringer. Blake then cinches in an arm bar, but Jordan escapes. Jordan then steps over into a jumping side kick. Jordan then hits a forearm and a clothesline. Jordan then hits a flying back elbow and a cartwheel back elbow. Jordan then hits a sit out X Factor and Blake goes to the floor. Jordan then avoids Blake and Jordan hits a kick. Jordynne Grace’s music then hits and she comes out and chases Jordan to the back. The door is then chained shut so Jordynne tells Blake she still has a match. Blake then beats the count back into the ring and Jordan hits a spinning Olympic slam and follows it up with a split legged moonsault for the win.

We. then go to Myles Borne’s comments about Lexis King and his false claims about him. Myles Borne then makes his way out for the next match of the night and Sarah Schreiber asks Borne on the entrance ramp how his eye sight is and Borne says it is a little blurry. Borne then says it will be a struggle for him unless you help him know when he is close to Lexis. Borne then says he wants the people to scream for him in this match. Borne then makes his way down to the ring.

Blindfold Match: Lexis King vs. Myles Borne

The match starts off with both men using the ropes to figure out where they are. King then misses Myles and they move past each other and miss again. Both men then back up into each other and they lockup. Both men then go into the corner and King with a clean break and he talks to the turnbuckle while Borne moves away and King punches the turnbuckles. Myles then hits a drop kick when King backs into Myles. King then falls over Myles and Myles gets a near fall with a rollup. King then hits a suicide dive to the floor. King then bumps into the ring post and he trips over the ring steps. Myles then goes to the floor and he sends King into the ringside barrier. King is then sent back into the ring. Both men then return to the ring and King hits a drop kick that connects with nothing. King then hits a punch and a chop. King then hits a slam.

KIng gives the mat an elbow drop and Myles gives the mat a knee drop. King goes for a super kick and almost hits the referee but hits the ropes. King misses a thrust kick and King falls over Myles. They exchange chops with King gaining the advantage. Myles with short arm clotheslines. King backs Myles into the corner and the referee separates them. King realizes that there is a man with no mask but he thumbs the referee in the eyes. King pulls off the hood and he kicks Myles in the ding ding. King with Coronation for the win.

We then head to the back, where Wren Sinclair says she doesn’t have a partner to face Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley. Wren then says he wants to know why Charlie Dempsey is so calm. Dempsey says he has a partner for Wren and it is Kendal Grey. Dempsey then says Grey impressed him in the ring and they talked. Dempsey then says Grey is going to listen to a true pro. Grey then says she will help Wren and she chops Dempsey.

Tag Team Match: The Culling (Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley) vs. No Quarter Catch Crew’s Wren Sinclair and Kendal Grey

The match starts off with Grey cinching in a waist lock, but Izzi swings her off. Grey then goes to the apron and slides under. Grey then tags in Wren and Wren hits a chop and follows it up with one from Wren for a near fall. Tatum then tags in and Wren hits a back heel kick and a forearm for a near fall. Tatum then hits a kick and Izzi tags in. Wren then hits a kick and side head lock. Tatum then tags in and she kicks Wren from the apron. Tatum then holds Wren in the ropes and Izzi hits a drop kick. Tatum then hits some kicks and a forearm to the midsection. Tatum then hits a body scissors. Wren then leans back to get a near fall. Tatum then misses a splash and Grey tags in and hits a series of back elbows and a clothesline. Grey then hits an overhead belly-to-belly suplex.

Grey then trips Tatum and hits a slingshot double stomp. Izzi then gets involved and Grey hits a leaping flatliner. Tatum then hits a German suplex and Wren tags in and hits a butterfly suplex. Tatum then hits a leaping face buster and Izzi tags in when Tatum goes for a springboard move. Wren then hits a crucifix for a near fall. Grey then hits a cross arm breaker to Tatum and Izzi hits a boot and a Sky High for the win.

We then head to the back, where Trick Williams mentions the upcoming shows announced. Williams then asks where does he stand in all of this. Williams then says he will be headlining all three shows because who is better to do it. Williams then says he is money. Williams then says he is the biggest star TNA has produced. Williams then says if you have a problem, let’s talk about it.

WWE NXT Championship #1 Contender’s Match: Josh Briggs vs. Ricky Saints

The match starts off with Ricky hitting some chops and punches. Josh then sends Ricky into the corner and he hits some punches. Josh then hits an Irish whip and an elbow. Josh then escapes a slam attempt and hits a Boss Man Slam for a near fall. Josh then hits a reverse chin lock. Josh then hits a back elbow, but he misses an elbow drop. Ricky then hits some punches and kicks. Josh then hits a forearm. Ricky then hits an uppercut to the arm and he goes to the ropes for some Old School. Josh then hits a knee and Ricky kicks Josh. Josh then gras Ricky by the throat and sends him over the top rope and to the floor. Ricky then pulls Josh to the floor and he chops him. Ricky then avoids the ring steps and Ricky drop kicks the steps into Josh’s knees. Josh then catches Ricky off the ring steps and Josh sets to lawn dart Ricky into the ring post, but Ricky gets free and sends Josh into the ring post.

Josh then sends Ricky’s back into the apron. Ricky then hits some punches when they return to the ring. Ricky then hits some chops and punches. Ricky then punches Josh on the turnbuckles, but Josh pushes Ricky away. Ricky then hits more punches and Josh pushes him away. Ricky then hits a drop toe hold and an elbow drop for a near fall. Ricky then hits some punches and elbows. Josh then blocks an Irish whip and hits an Irish whip and an elbow in the corner. Josh then hits a Yakuza kick. Josh then takes his time and gets a near fall. Josh then hits a drop kick to the back and he gets another near fall. Josh then sends Ricky to the mat. Josh then stands on Ricky’s hand and hits a knee. Ricky then hits some punches and Josh hits a back elbow.

Ricky then hits some punches. Josh then misses a clothesline a few times, but hits a flying cross body for a near fall. Josh then hits a hard Irish whip and he gets a near fall. Josh then hits an Irish whip that sends Ricky face first into the middle turnbuckle. Josh then misses a flying clothesline when Ricky slides under. Ricky then hits some punches. Josh then hits an Irish whip and Ricky hits a series of clotheslines, but Josh stays on his feet. Ricky then hits a flying forearm and follows it up with a Michinoku Driver for a near fall.

Josh then gets Ricky up, but Ricky tries for a sunset flip. Josh then punches the mat when Ricky moves. Ricky then hits a boot to the head and he goes up top. Josh then punches Ricky and Josh climbs the turnbuckles. Ricky then pushes Josh off the turnbuckles, but Josh kicks Ricky off the turnbuckles. Josh then hits a back breaker and a running boot for a near fall. Ricky then hits an enzuigiri and he tries to get Josh up, but Josh stops him. Ricky then hits a spear and Ricky goes up top and misses an elbow drop. Josh then hits a choke slam for a near fall. The elbow pad then comes off and Josh sets up for a clothesline, but he misses. Ricky then hits a chop and a punch. Josh then hits a back elbow and he misses a boot in the corner. Ricky then hits a reverse DDT and a tornado DDT for the win.

We then head back to the ring and Saints says he is coming after Oba Femi. The camera then shows Oba Femi heading to the ring from the backstage area.

WWE NXT Champion Oba Femi then makes his way down to the ring to confront Ricky Saints. Saints says he is impressed to see Oba Femi in the flesh. Saints then says people are saying the title reign is bearing down on him leading into Heatwave. Saints then says you cannot be the ruler forever. Saints then tells Oba to look in his eyes because he will absolutely end the terror and reign of Oba Femi. Oba then tells Ricky he made a mistake. Oba then says when he said he saw nothing, he lied. Oba then says he sees fear in his eyes. Oba then says his career will be taken to new highs and at No Mercy, they have a date with destiny. Oba then says he will show Ricky that he is not special. Oba then says when he stands across the ring from him you are nothing. Oba then says he shows his opponents the level of their talent. Oba then says he makes the exceptional average and he will make the absolute, absolutely mediocre.

The lights then go out and DarkState show up. Dion says they will cut this out. He then says they lead NXT. He then says they are not content with these title. Osiris then says they can leave the ring or they will make them leave. Saquon then says you can ask Hank & Tank. Ricky then says he chooses option two. DarkState enter the ring and Osiris goes after Oba. Hank & Tank then make their way down to the ring and they pair off. DarkState is then sent to the floor.

NXT General Manger Ava then announces that the Speed titles are on NXT and starting September 2nd, there will a tournament with Candice LeRae, Lainey Reid, Faby Apache and Xia Brookside. Ava then says next week Candice faces Xia in the first tournament match.

Singles Match: The Secret Hervice’s Alba Fyre vs. WWE LFG season one winner Tyra Mae Steele

The match starts off with Alba pushing Tyra away and she poses and salutes. Alba then goes for a rollup, but Tyra holds on to the ropes. Tyra then stomps on Alba and hits a gut-wrench suplex. Alba then has a kick blocked and Tyra sends Alba to the mat and applies a Gator Roll. Tyra then cinches in a bow and arrow. Tyra then goes for a German suplex, but Alba holds on to the ropes and she hits a back elbow and a thrust kick that sends Tyra to the floor. Green then tries to punch Tyra, but misses. Ethan and Green then distract Tyra long enough for Alba to hit a suicide dive. Alba then gets a near fall. Alba then kicks Tyra. Alba then hits an Irish whip and a splash into the corner Alba then hits a snap mare and knee to the back. Alba then hits a knee drop. Alba then misses knee drop when Tyra moves.

Tyra then hits some forearms and punches. Alba then hits a knee and an Irish whip, but Tyra hits a leaping hip strike. Tyra then misses a splash and Alba hits a knee and a DDT for a near fall. Tyra then blocks the Gory Bomb and Alba hits a chop. Alba then tries again and Tyra blocks it. Tyra then hits a German suplex. Tyra then cinches in an ankle lock. Ethan then helps Alba get out of the hold and Tyra kicks Ethan. Tyra then blocks a super kick and gets the win with a rollup.

After the match, Chelsea Green attacks Tyra and Tavion comes into the ring. Page then hits Tavion with the belt and hits the Twisted Grit. Ethan then puts the Canadian flag over Tavion.

We then head to the back, where Hank and Tank tell Ava they want another title match. Ava then says DarkState asked for the same thing. Hank and Tank then thank Ava, but Ava says DarkState wants all four of them. Hank then says there are two of them. Ava then says they have the 8-Man Tag Team Match next week and they can talk about the rematch.

6-Woman Tag Team Match:Fatal Influence (WWE NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx) vs. Lola Vice and ZaRuca (ZARIA and WWE NXT Women’s North American Champion Sol Ruca)

The match starts off with Sol and Fallon and both women lock up. Sol then hits an arm drag and a sunset flip. Fallon then hits a body scissors for a near fall. Fallon then goes for an arm drag in the ropes, but Sol blocks it. Sol then trips Fallon and hits a thrust kick. Fallon then avoids a splash into the corner. Sol then puts Fallon on the turnbuckles after blocking a monkey flip. Fallon then hits a tornado suplex. Nyx then tags in and she punches Sol and sends her to the mat. Nyx then hits a leg lariat. Sol then hits a spinning face plant and a kick to the chest. ZARIA then tags in and they hit a double hip toss and a double elbow drop. ZARIA then gets a near fall. ZARIA then hits an Irish whip, but she misses a splash. ZARIA then hits a boot and she chokes Nyx on the turnbuckles. ZARIA then hits a clothesline off the turnbuckles for a near fall. ZARIA then goes for a suplex, but Nyx lands on her feet and hits a springboard round kick for a near fall. ZARIA then blocks a kick and she sets for a choke slam, but Nyx counters with a victory roll.

ZARIA then hits a slam and Lola tags in. ZARIA then slams Lola onto Nyx for a near fall. Lola then kicks Nyx and Jacy tags in. Both women then lock up and Lola escapes. Lola then goes for a hip toss, but Jacy blocks it. Lola then hits a cross arm breaker when Jacy goes for a take down. Lola then hits some punches and a slingshot arm drag. Jacy then hits a face buster and a clothesline for a near fall. Jacy then hits an Irish whip and a hip into the corner. Fallon then tags in and hits a sliding forearm for a near fall. Lola then hits some knees on Fallon and Sol tags in. Sol then hits a kick and an elbow for a near fall. Fallon then hits an Irish whip, but Fallon misses a shoulder when Sol goes to the apron. Sol then uses Fallon as a surfboard. Jacy then pulls the ropes and Sol goes to the floor when Nyx pulls open the ropes.

Lainey Reid then watches from the Crow’s Nest, while Fatal Influence poses. Fallon then sends Sol back into the ring. Fallon then hits a front face lock and Jacy tags in and she punches Sol. Jacy then hits a suplex for a near fall. Jacy then hits a kick to the back. Jacy then hits a back senton and she gets a near fall. Jacy then sends Sol into the turnbuckles. Nyx then gets a series of near falls. Nyx then hits an Irish whip and Fallon tags in. Fallon then hits a cravate and some knees. Sol then gets a back slide. Fallon then hits a twisting hair take down. Fallon then sends Sol into the turnbuckles and Nyx tags in. Nyx then hits a fisherman’s suplex for a near fall. Nyx then hits another fisherman’s suplex and she rolls through into a bridging chin lock.

Sol then hits Divorce Court and Fallon tags in and knocks ZARIA off the apron. Jacy then pulls Lola off the apron when Sol tries to make the tag. Jacy then sends Lola into the ring post. Fallon then kicks Sol and hits some forearms to the back. Fallon then hits a forearm and Nyx tags in. Sol then hits some forearms and chops, but Fallon and Nyx kick Sol and hit a double flap jack and a double blockbuster. Jacy then tags in and gets a near fall. Jacy then kicks Sol in the corner. Fallon then tags in and she hits an elbow into the corner. Jacy then tags in and they set for a double belly-to-back suplex, but Sol lands on her feet and ZARIA tags in. ZARIA then hits some clotheslines and a boot. ZARIA then hits a head butt and splash on Fallon. Jacy then hits a super kick to ZARIA and ZARIA hits a double suplex. Nyx then tags in and ZARIA catches Nyx off the ropes and hits a belly-to-back suplex. Sol then tags in and she hits a Keg Stand for a near fall. ZARIA then hits a German suplex on Fallon. Jacy then hits a neck breaker on ZARIA. Sol and Jacy then hits clotheslines at the same time.

Lola then tags in and she punches Nyx and kicks Jacy and Fallon. Lola then hits spinning kicks and she hits some rapid fire kicks on Jacy and Nyx. Lola then sets for the hip shaking running hip strike on Nyx and Jacy. Lola then misses a kick on Fallon. Nyx then kicks Lola. Fallon and Jacy then hits some knees, but Sol breaks up the cover. The referee then holds Jacy off and Nyx holds Lola, but Sol pulls Jacy to the floor. ZARIA then hits a spear. Lola then pushes Fallon into Nyx and Sol hits Sol Snatcher on Nyx, while Lola hits a back first on Fallon for the win.

After the match, Vic Joseph then runs through the advertised No Mercy matches on September 27th and the show comes to a close.
