WWE NXT Results (8/5/2025)

Here are the results for August 5th episode of WWE NXT.

Singles Match: “The Glamour” Blake Monroe vs. Kelani Jordan


The match starts off with Kelani Jordan wasting no time in going after Blake Monroe. She hits an arm drag and a dropkick on Monroe, then follows it up with a crossbody and wears Monroe down with a submission, but Monroe sends Jordan out of the ring and hits a dropkick on her under the bottom rope.

Monroe then gets Jordan back in the ring as we see a mystery person pull up to the Performance Center. Monroe then hits a Sling Blade on Jordan, but Jordan responds with a split legged Stunner on Monroe and cinches in a Half Boston Crab. Monroe then grabs the bottom rope to escape, but Jordan flies off the top rope. Monroe then hits a headbutt on Jordan.

Jordynne Grace’s music then hits and she storms to the ring. Monroe then escapes through a side door in the arena and hops into a waiting car to escape. The referee then begins a ten count, but Monroe is obviously unable to return to the ring with the car having taken off.

The winner of the Match via count-out, Kelani Jordan!

We then head to the back, where Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors ask Andre Chase what are their chances in their next match. Chase says there is a one in a million chance. Kale and Uriah are excited about his, with Kale dropping the Lloyd Christmas “at least there’s a chance” line from Dumb and Dumber.

WWE NXT Tag Team Championship Match: Hank & Tank (Hank Walker and Tank Ledger) (c) vs. Chase U (Uriah Connors and Kale Dixon)

The match starts off with Kale Dixon and Hank Walker and Dixon goes after Walker. Connors then tags in and hits an assisted powerbomb on Walker with Dixon. Walker then sends Connors onto the apron, but Connors hits a spinning kick on Walker’s spine. Walker then intercepts Connors with a kick to his face, then tags in Ledger. Ledger then aids Walker in hitting a flapjack on Connors before he exchanges right hands with Connors.

Dixon then tags in and rolls up Ledger, but Ledger kicks out. Dixon then low bridges Ledger out of the ring and flies over the top rope to nail Walker and Ledger on the outside. He then sends him back inside the ring, then climbs to the top rope and looks to fly. Ledger then rolls out of the way, and Walker hits a spinning Sidewalk Slam on Dixon. Walker and Ledger then look to hit a double splash on Dixon, but Connors pushes Dixon out of the way and takes the move from him. Walker and Ledger then hit a double splash on Dixon, then hit an over the shoulder powerslam-clothesline combination on Dixon for the win.

After the match, DarkState appears and beats down Connors, Dixon, Chase, Ledger and Walker. They then hit a quadruple powerbomb on Ledger and stand tall.

We then see Fatal Influence chatting backstage. They are then approached by The Personal Concierge (George Iceman from TNA), who says Ash by Elegance sent him to inform Jacy Jayne that Ash will become Knockouts World Champion this Thursday. Jacy then brushes him off. Lainey Reid then shows up and says that’s Jazmyn’s job and Jacy tells her to go shine it.

Singles Match: Lexis King vs. Myles Borne


The match starts off with Lexis King having the advantage early on with a side headlock. Borne then shoves King away and hit him with a shoulder tackle and back suplex. A “Baby Randy” and “RKO” chant then ensues. King then hit Borne with a rough looking springboard Crossbody for a near fall. Borne then hit King with an Ushigoroshi for a near fall. King then trips Borne off a springboard and hit him with a double stomp. King then sends Borne to ringside. Borne then turns the tables and sends King to ringside. Borne then follows it up with a Plancha.

King then sends Borne back into the ring and stomps some more on his ear, then hits a dropkick on him in the corner. Borne then responds with a powerslam on King and sends him crashing into the turnbuckle, then hits a belly-to-belly suplex and follows it up with a back suplex. He then hits a Famouser on King for the win.

We then head to the back, where DarkState mock Hank and Tank with Osiris saying they are the people who took them out. Shugars then says they have had them in their sights for a while. Cutler then says they will be right up their asses and Dion says they aren’t done yet before walking off.

Singles Match: “The Irresistible Force” Nia Jax vs. Thea Hail


The match starts off with both women locking up and Thea Hail cinches in a rear chin lock, but Nia Jax hits a snap mare. Hail then hits a drop kick to the knee and she bounces off Jax on a cross body attempt. Jax then misses an elbow drop. Hail then hits a splash, but Jax kicks out before one. Hail then goes for an exploder, but she cannot get Jax up. Jax then hits a Samoan drop. Jax then sends Hail into the ring post.

Jax then chokes Hail in the ropes. Jax then sends Hail face first to the mat. Jax then sends Hail over the top rope and to the floor and Hail holds her ankle. Jax then goes to the floor to get Hail and she sends her into the apron. Jax then goes for a slam, but Hail escapes and she sends Jax into the ring post. Hail then hits a drop kick and punches Jax, but Jax hits a head butt and Hail goes down. Jax then sends Hail to the floor one more time.

Hail then gets back into the ring. Hail then delivers some punches and a head butt. Jax then hits a back elbow and she stretches Hail. Jax then sends Hail into the turnbuckles. Jax then uses her rear end to choke Hail in the ropes. Jax then hits a biel and she misses a splash into the corner. Hail then hits an enzuigiri and a hip attack into the corner. Hail then runs into Jax and she goes down. Jax then stretches Hail. Hail then stomps on Jax’s foot and punches Jax, but Jax hits a body block and a leg drop for a near fall.

Jax then wears down Hail with a submission hold and charges at Hail, but Hail sends Jax crashing into the ring post shoulder first. Hail then delivers some strikes on Jax and hits a Tornado DDT on her, then hits a springboard senton on Jax and a kick on her. Hail then climbs to the top rope, but Jax trips her up and delivers hip strikes on her. She then follows it up with the An-Nia-Lator for the win.

After the match, Kelly Kincaid interviews Nia Jax in the ring. Jax says she imposes her will in the ring. She then talks about winning championships and defeating Hall of Famers and asks what has Lash Legend done. Lash Legend then makes her way down to the ring and throws hands at Nia Jax. Security then runs out to pull both women apart.

We then see Jordynne Grace in Ava’s office and Ava says she wants to talk about Heatwave. She then says Jordynne will face Blake at Heatwave. Ava then says Blake deserves to get her ass kicked. Grace then says Ava can count on that.

WWE NXT Champion Oba Femi then makes his way down to the ring. Femi then grabs a mic and starts off by saying Yoshiki Inamura and Josh Briggs brought everything to try to take the title from him, but they failed. Femi then says he has held the title for over 200 days and everything remains the same.

Trick Williams’ music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Williams says Femi is a big dog, but Femi questions who Williams is trying to convince how big of a threat it is. Williams then says he’s the man carrying two brands, but Femi reminds Williams that he could never beat him. Williams then says he got to thinking about being the man who carries two brand by carrying both the TNA World Championship and the NXT Championship. Je’Von Evans’ music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. He steps up to Williams, but Williams tells Evans to mind his business. Femi then says he’s gonna leave Williams and Evans to be. Williams and Evans then continue to argue.

TNA star Moose’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Moose tells Williams that he will meet him in the ring at TNA Emergence and tells Femi he hasn’t forgotten about him. DarkState music then hits and they attack Moose, Femi, Williams and Evans. The four men then manage to overpower DarkState and send the group crashing out of the ring. Security then comes out to stop them.

We then seen Stacks in the back and Ariana Grace stops by to say hello and see how he is doing. Stacks then says Inamura will pay for what he did. Lash Legend and Nia Jax then continue to brawl in the area.

Sinclair then says there is more Wren Sinclair/Charles Quality Time. Dempsey then says he trained Myles and Tavion too well. Sinclair then starts to sing Joe Hendry’s music and Dempsey says he won’t appear. Hendry then appears and Dempsey wants to know why Hendry is here. Hendry then says he has something just for him. Hendry then gives Dempsey some clothing. Dempsey then says Hendry is a virus and an infection. Hendry then says why not have a wrestling match next week and Sinclair says the sour puss accepts. Sinclair then asks for a photo.

WWE NXT Heritage Cup Champion Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo vs. Yoshiki Inamura


The match starts off with Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo blindsiding Yoshiki Inamura from behind and delivering. some right hands on him. Stacks then delivers some right hands on Inamura and climbs to the top rope. Inamura then pulls Stacks off the top rope and runs him over with a couple of shoulder tackles, then delivers some chops on him with the final one sending Stacks crashing out of the ring over the top rope.

Stacks then asks Inamura who he thinks he is, but Inamura hits a stiff open palm strike on Stacks. Arianna Grace then appears at ringside and slaps Inamura, asking who he thinks he is and telling him that Stacks is her man. As the referee deals with Grace, Josh Briggs slides into the ring and hits a big boot on Inamura. Stacks then pins him for the win.

Ethan Page then makes his way down to the ring. Page then grabs a mic and starts off by saying it is his 70th day as the Greatest North American Champion of all time. Page then says last week was the Canadian Standard of Excellence. Page then says even with that vile reptilian sock, Santino was not able to get the job done. Page then says he is still Canadian so he is still better than all of you. Page then says he is just Canadian, not the greatest North American. Page then says you have great Canadians like Alexander Graham Bell, Wayne Gretzky and Bret Hart, but he is at the top.

Page then demands that the live crowd stand in the ring as he sings the Canadian national anthem, then begins to sing “O Canada”. Tavion Heights’ music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Heights tells Page that no one tuned into NXT to see a Canadian goose sing, then says he was on Team USA playing in the Olympic Games and he has a lot of pent up energy he doesn’t know where to put it. Page then tries to calm a fired up Heights down, but Heights decides to ignore Page.

Chelsea Green’s music then hits and she makes her way out along with Piper Niven and Alba Fyre. Green then introduces herself to Heights, then says Page is a model Canadian second only to her. She then demands that Heights apologize to Page for interrupting his rendition of “O Canada”. Heights then ignores Green and nails Page.

Fallon Henley and Jacy Jayne are then shown trashing talk Kelani Jordan and Lola Vice in the locker room. Jazmyn Nyx then brings both of Jayne’s title belts to Jayne. Nyx then talks about how she talked to Ava and got Jayne and Henley booked in a match against Vice and Jordan next week. Henley and Jayne didn’t like it.

We then see Sol Ruca and ZARIA hanging out backstage. The camera then pans over to Nia Jax and Lash Legend still brawling. Ava then shows up and books Lash Legend vs. Nia Jax for next week.

Je’Von, Moose, Trick and Oba are all in Ava’s office. Ava then walks in and says Trick vs. Je’Von is in two weeks for a shot at Oba. Ava then says next week all four of them take on DarkState in an eight-man tag. Hank & Tank then come in and want DarkState. Ava then says DarkState will challenge for the tag titles at Heatwave and then orders everyone to go out.

We then see Kelly Kincaid sit down with Ricky Saints and asks if he feels like he has a target on his back. Saints says yes he came into NXT and put the target on his back. Saints then says it’s just not about the target. Saints then says Ethan Page is jealous and Jasper Troy wants what he does. Saints then says there are different agendas, but the same goals for people. Saints then says Ethan Page understands that NXT is where he needs to be to get there. Saints then says he has a plan and is desperate. Saints then says Jasper is young and angry and he doesn’t have a plan and is making his way. Saints then says it’s like a paradox and can’t plan for that. Kelly then asks if he’s frustrated about that and he says no. Saints then says everyone wants to get to RAW and SmackDown and he’ll be there, but he wants to get the NXT Title first. Saints then says Jasper is in his way and in two weeks in Philly, he’s guaranteeing things won’t end up like they did before.

WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship Match: Sol Ruca (c) vs. The Culling’s Tatum Paxley

The match starts off with both women locking up. Paxley then sends Ruca’s head bouncing off her knee, then cinches in a submission on her to wear her down. Ruca then escapes and cinches in a Bow and Arrow on Paxley, then sends her crashing into the mat face first and hits a dropkick on her. Ruca then climbs to the top rope, but Shawn Spears hops up on the apron to distract her. ZARIA then gets in Spears’ face and begins arguing with The Culling, prompting Ruca to hit a moonsault off the top rope to take down Spears, Niko Vance and Izzi Dame. Paxley then jams her knee into Ruca’s throat in the corner, but Ruca sends Paxley crashing into the corner. Paxley then hits an enzuigiri on Ruca, then wears her down with a submission hold.

Paxley then sends Ruca crashing into the middle turnbuckle face first, then sends her into the corner spine first and spikes her with a DDT. Paxley then wears down Ruca with a submission hold. Ruca then nails Paxley with a kick to her face, then runs over her with a shoulder tackle and hits her with a superkick. She then follows it up with a neckbreaker on Paxley, then sends her crashing into the mat face first and runs her over with a knee on her face. Paxley then hits an enzuigiri on Ruca from the outside, then hits a springboard variation of Whisper In The Wind.

Paxley then places Ruca on the top rope, but Ruca pulls Paxley off with a Sunset Flip Powerbomb. Ruca then charges at Paxley, but Paxley ducks out of the way and Ruca is sent crashing into the ring post shoulder first. Ruca then hits a kick on Paxley and looks to hit a moonsault on her off the top rope before she hits a spear on her in the corner. Paxley then hits a neckbreaker on Ruca off the top rope. Spears then looks to hand Paxley her doll, but Dame tries to stop him. Paxley then grabs the doll as Nia Jax and Lash Legend spill out into the ringside area still brawling. Legend then spears Jax through one of the barricades, opening the door for Ruca to hit the Sol Snatcher on Paxley for the win.

The winner and still the WWE NXT Women’s North American Champion, Sol Ruca!

After the match, Sol Ruca and ZARIA celebrate the win while the Culling goes back up the ramp and the show comes to a close.
