According to Programming Insider WWE SmackDown on January 9 average 990,000 viewers on USA Network. This number is down from the 1.175 million viewers the show average on January 2nd.
In the key 18–49 demographic, Friday night’s broadcast posted a 0.26 rating, a slight decline from the 0.28 demo rating recorded the previous week.
SmackDown finished second on the night on cable behind the College Football Playoff Semifinal between Indiana vs. Oregon, which scored 17.164 million viewers and a 2.17 rating in the key 18–49 demographic.
