WWE SmackDown Reportedly Moving Back To Three-Hour Format

WWE SmackDown is reportedly moving back to a three-hour broadcast format starting with the first episode of 2026.

According to a new report from WrestleVotes, WWE and the USA Network have agreed to expand the show, with the change taking effect on January 2, 2026. That first three-hour show of the new year will be broadcast from the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York.

SmackDown previously ran for three hours from January to June 2025 before reverting to its traditional two-hour slot. The show currently airs every Friday at 8 PM EST on the USA Network.
