WWE SmackDown Results (9/26/25)
Michael Cole and Booker T are on commentary. They say Corey Graves won’t be on TV for a while because of what Brock Lesnar did to him last week.
Paul Heyman is in the ring. He does his usual introduction and says there’s a lot to cover, but only two hours to do it. He jokes that he won’t take up the full two hours. Heyman then paraphrases a certain secondary champion and asks the crowd in Orlando, “What do you want to talk about?”
Paul Heyman asks the crowd if they want to talk about Seth Rollins. When they respond with a loud “no,” Paul brushes it off, saying Rollins’ greatness is above their pay grade. He says he’d love to talk about Roman Reigns, but finds it disrespectful to speak about someone who just got stretchered out of Paris by Bronson Reed. Heyman then shifts gears, suggesting they talk about the “dog” who’s going to main event WrestleMania for the next five to ten years and lead WWE into the 2030s and 2040s maybe Bron Breakker? Or maybe they should talk about the conspiracy theories and rumors surrounding Brock Lesnar?
Just as Paul leans into that idea, the drums hit—and Cody Rhodes’ music cuts him off. Cody walks out and heads to the ring. Cody Rhodes starts off by asking the crowd if they watched the recap. He then says he made a mistake last week—he shouldn’t have called Paul Heyman a goon. In fact, he doesn’t think Paul is a goon at all. He calls Heyman one of the smartest men he’s ever known, but accuses him of always stirring things up. Then, Cody brings up the name that’s been looming—Brock Lesnar.
Cody says he can’t just make accusations without backing them up, so he asks production to roll footage of Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar at Wrestlepalooza.
After the video, Cody expresses his concern. He says he knows Brock Lesnar—but not as well as Paul does. And judging by that look on Brock’s face, Cody questions if it really was just a “one night thing.” He asks Paul directly: who is he talking to right now—the Oracle, the Wise Man, or the Advocate?
Heyman fires back, saying Cody is speaking to the GOAT. As the Greatest of All Time, Paul says he respects Cody for confronting him about Brock. He adds that everyone knows when Brock is around, no one is safe. But there’s some good news Brock.
Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed interrupt The Segment and head to the ring. Paul says Brock isn’t here—but questions why Cody thinks that means he’s safe. Bron and Bronson step into the ring, closing in on Cody.
Cody looks at both men and says it’s about time. He’s heard all the talk about how dangerous they are and how they’re the future of WWE. Maybe that’s true. He points out how Paul tells Bron that he’s a future WrestleMania main eventer—but he says the same thing to Bronson too. Cody admits that when he was their age, he would’ve killed to be a “Heyman Guy.” But he warns them: Paul Heyman’s loyalty? It’s not with them.
Bron takes off his shirt. Bronson steps in closer. Cody calmly takes off his jacket and hands his watch to Booker T at ringside. Cody says it might not be the smartest decision but it looks like they want a fight. Cody strikes first, throwing punches at both Bron and Bronson. He dodges, causing Bronson to accidentally hit Bron with a splash. Cody goes for CrossRhodes on Bron, but a flying clothesline stops him.
Randy Orton’s music hits. Randy storms down the ramp, nails Bronson Reed with a punch and slams him into the barricade. Inside the ring, he swings at Bron but gets shoved off. Orton hits an RKO on Reed instead. Cody follows up by clotheslining Bron over the top rope to clear the ring.
Cathy Kelley is backstage with The Street Profits. She asks them about the current tag team title picture and the tension that’s been going around. Montez Ford says they’ve moved past what happened in Paris. Angelo Dawkins adds that no matter what, they’ve always got each other’s backs. The goal hasn’t changed. Montez finishes by saying their partnership isn’t over.

Hayes sends Miz into the corner for an Awesome Clothesline. Hayes follows up with a snapmare, Miz lands a big boot, and Hayes hits a scissor leg drop. Miz goes for the cover and gets another near fall.
Ford hits an enzuigiri, and both men go down. Hayes tags in and knocks Dawkins off the apron to stop the tag. Hayes throws punches at Ford while the referee holds Dawkins back from getting involved. Hayes whips Ford into the corner and chops him.
Ford fights back with elbows and kicks, but Hayes catches him and drives him into the turnbuckles. Ford escapes a suplex and knocks Miz to the floor. Hayes tries to block Ford from slipping through his legs, and Miz pulls Dawkins off the apron to stop the tag.
Hayes hits a Codebreaker and goes to the top rope, but Miz tags himself in. Hayes stops and tells Miz that’s the second time he’s done that. Dawkins tags in and takes out Miz with a punch and a clothesline, followed by a flying corkscrew back elbow.
Dawkins hits a twisting splash in the corner, then an enzuigiri and a butterfly neckbreaker. He follows with the Anointment and Ford finishes it with the Seven Star Frog Splash. Hayes has a chance to break the pin but chooses not to, allowing Ford to get the three count.

We return with a video package for Crown Jewel. It highlights that AJ Styles will face John Cena at the event. Drew McIntyre is in the ring wearing a walking boot.

He says he doesn’t blame the ref, he blames Cody, and claims power has corrupted him. Nick Aldis comes out, saying he understands Drew’s frustration. Sometimes you’re the hammer, sometimes the nail. But he wants to know where Drew’s walking boot came from.
Drew says he has his own medical team. Nick tells him to stop making excuses. If Drew really believes corruption is why he isn’t champion, he’s delusional. The referee’s decision is final.
